hello my friend...The battery status on the App shows it was okay and so was the charge on the controller since there is one LED lit up and nothing beeping. I have a cheaper drone called the 4DRC F3 which didn't have external antennas even though it appeared that it had. Now as for the Fimi X8 mini.... The external Antennas are real and their intended purpose is for range and penetration. Firmware is as follows FC : 1015A Camera : 2011A Battery : 1009 RC : 1003F RC Relay : 3003A Vison : 2003A FC relay : 3003A ESC : 1003B NFZ : 1002 thanks for your help....much appreciated

@@peterbambule228 even the X8 SE is the same....please check your manual carefully since it only mentions magnetic interference,,, plus if you follow the app it doesn't specify that you must be 1M of the ground.......cheers

One of the 4 leds are on, recharge your RC.
The RC antennas are still folded.

For correct compass calibration, the drone has to be minimal 1 Meter over ground!
I had rhe same problem! Look in the Manual. 1 meter over ground an it will work in the first try!

I had the same problem. You need use a magnet to demagnetize the compass. I tried it and now I can calibrate it.
