Krutagnyatalu - Gratitude in Telugu (South Indian language) - for the very lively instrument and super rhythms that you SIMPLY played, I have a Djembe a and play it to relax. I suggest that you listen & watch Bhaarateeya (Indian) percussion instruments. Maybe you already have experienced them. Enjoy ❤

Thanks for your prompt response. You can watch watch on RUclips, The percussionist plays SOLO only sometimes. Usually they are accompaniments to the main artists - vocals, violin, sarod, sitar, santoor, shehnai etc... The percussionists play Tabla, Mridangam, Pakhawaj, Ghatam. All in Classical Music. There are any number of percussionists in Folk Music from each part of Bhaarat. Enjoy❤

You can start by watching videos of
      Ustaad Zakir Hussain - Tabla
      Satish Patri - Mridangam
Vikku Vinayakram - Ghatam - an earthen pot. You can watch them SOLO Or DUETS.
. You can watch them accompanying singers violinists, Bansuri( Flute) players .
Also with Sitar, Sarod, Sarangi, Veena, Santoor. These are String instruments. ENJOY❤

I'm not sure about Beledi and Masmoudi Saghrir. Most people say it's the same rhythm. Do you also agree? In my view Beledi is 4/4 and both Masmoudis are 8/4 but until now I haven't found a real proof about that.

Thank you so much for making this! I can usually recognize Saidi and Chiftiteli, but I get confused between Beladi, Malfouf, and Maksoum. I've heard Adani before but didn't know the name of that one and it seems pretty easily identifiable. I guess the next step is figuring out what the markers are in the ones that confuse me so that they become more identifiable in my brain.

Good question! Egyptian technique with the Rak sound or Qarshi ( Check Rak sound in my vids ) and also Turquish handsplit roll for the left hand ( 5th stroke roll ) "T" Right hand sharp sound only using middle and ring fingers same time, then "K2" ( left index finger ), "T" again, "K4" ( left ring finger ) = T-k2-T-k4
