    I know closed handstroke is common in devon (nothing wrong, sounds lovely, just different), but didn't realise the call to start is different. No 'look to' in devon?

      We usually do when we pull off the stay, but different ringers use different phrases to get us going in the rise. Some people use Look To, others just say Go or Pull.
