I have one of identical design purchased from Amazon. Different color but everything the same. A couple things to take note of are #1 they are not designed to be used with power tools,I use a ratchet and deep well socket. #2 the bearings on the outside and inside of the shaft failed after only about 6months months light use,so keep checking on them before and after each use,y might find some small balls on your garage floor.
Nice review Craig. It should work well for you. I have been using a Drag Specialties version of that same lift to work on the Victory Vision for years.
I've read the reviews on many of these scissor lifts made in China. I would like one to use on my Harbor freight lift table. All the reviews indicate the bolt and or nut stripping out because they are cheap mild steel with no hardening. That's the reason I have not bought one. They are not safe. Sad you cannot find a quality one with hardened steel components. Craig, you should do a little research before posting videos of this junk just because it was free. People value your opinion.
I appreciate your input. Most of the reviews of this lift are positive with a few that report things like you mention. For my purposes I will never attempt to lift the full weight of my Tiger or any other heavy motorcycle with this lift. I have seen some who have done that. These small lifts are meant for stabization during things like wheel removal. If it does end up breaking, I will do a follow up video and report that. There are other better quality scissor lifts out there, but they also cost a lot more just like there are better quality full bike lifts than Harbor Freight.
No there are no tie downs. This type of lift is meant for stabizing as I talked about with my Tiger. A lighter bike like The WR can be lifted but of course you would always make sure it is secure. And some have talked about using power tools, but you should not do that. Even more expensive lifts should only be operated with hand tools.
Not bad but I would definitely use a chord less impact drill to go up and down . But I am lazy lol 👍
I purchased this to raise and lower my table saw on my workbench so that i can hide my table saw underneath

Looks pretty good friend, I think I'd put a cordless drill to it and crank it up a bit faster maybe 😊
Wife calls down, honey have you seen the front door mat?
Ummm no. 😂

It worked using this account....Finally. Does this have any tie downs? Is there a risk of teetering when removing wheels?

Just a note it would be easier to crank that puppy up several inches first & then slide it under the bike for the last few inches.
Made in China???
Of course. Is there one made in the U.S.?
There are other options! F CHINA 👎🏻
