- "Tips for Wildlife Photography in Horton Plains" Video contains the tips to track birds and photographs them.
Horton plains is one of the best travel destinations in Sri Lanka. The history of Horton plains goes over 24,000 years the era of Balangoda manawaya. This lovely land was called as Maha Eliya Thenna earlier. And has been named as Horton Plains lately. This has been nominated as a sanctuary and then as a National Park. By considering the bio diversity of the Horton plains and considering the specialty of this land this was then nominated as a world heritage.
Doing wildlife photography in Horton Plains is a real challenge due to the weather conditions in the location. But this unique place is enriched with superb bio diversity. As a result of that Horton Plains has named as one of the World Heritages. Some of the birds are endemic to Horton Plains itself. Whereas nobody can see those birds in any other areas of the country. We have covered how to track birds, when to track and where you should track them in this video.
