Hey there! This is Zack, the author. Just found this review video! Thank you so much for the kind words! I'm glad everyone is enjoying Illmire! Eventually, I would love to do a 2nd Edition of Illmire and expand the layout to make it easier on the eyes and easier to digest. You are right that there were some sacrifices willingly made to smash everything into a zine. It was a Zinequest product and there was a hard limit on size, binding type, page count, etc. I'm currently working to finish up The Dragonwilds (I'm very behind schedule), which will be similar to Illmire but like 10x the size and scope. Hope to see a review of that one next year! Thanks again @fumbletable!
Hey Zack, thank you! Its an awesome product. I only cover things i love, so if Illmire is anything to go by you can be pretty sure i'll cover it. If there is anything i can do to help get eyeballs on it drop us and email at the channel name at gmail.
Thanks for your video. I have been DMing a group of early 30 somethings that basically only know 5e. I on the other hand have been playing since 1e (yeah I'm an old guy) and I have been looking for Old School material that I can convert to 5e. This video convinced me to purchase. Nice job. New sub.
i love those climbing events!!! i own this module, and i didn't even know that was in there! totally using this more often, and making equivalents for other environments!
Good module. Unfortunately, the author seemingly abandoned all of his RPG projects, including a Kickstarter for an RPG called "Realms of Peril", where buyers have been left hanging for over a year. Its sad, because the author clearly had talent, but shutting off all communication with customers is not a good thing.
Hello! Author of Illmire here. Just wanted to chime in because this comment made me sad. Very sorry for the months of radio silence! After the Kickstarters funded, life really kicked my ass with a heart attack, divorce, and still ongoing custody issues. Maybe TMI, but I figure best to be honest. Realms of Peril was completed one year late and all backers have received their copies. It's now available in print and PDF! Working on finishing up the Dragonwilds currently. The first book which details over 120 hexes is available to Kickstarter backers and I'm about 50% done with the compendium which contains all the dungeons. So hang in there, I've not abandoned Dragonwilds and I hope to see a review of it on @fumbletable's channel next year!
@@ZackWolf Hey Zack! First, let me say that I'm sincerely glad that you're doing ok, and that you're getting through those adversities. My apologies if I sounded too harsh in my previous post. I completely understand about life knocking you down. And people's lives and their well-being are much more important than any RGP product. I was interested in Realms of Peril and your other ongoing products, but I was disappointed by the complete radio silence, as you say. I think just a few periodic quick notes to your supporters saying that life threw you a big curve, and that you were trying to get back on your feet, would have probably gone a long way. And I would guess that most of your supporters would have understood the hiatus. It was the 100% radio silence that left some fans like me frustrated and confused. But, that's in the past, and I'm glad you're bouncing back. I wish you the best of luck and much success with your games and your personal life. Its great to see you back, and I will happily check out your products in the future.

You're welcome
I can only confrim this is an outstanding module. Absolutely worth to have in ones collection.
100%
Very cool, thank you.
You're welcome
Great review.
Glad you enjoyed it
Yeah !! I love it too.
Awesome!!!
Thanks!!
This seems cool and reasonably priced
It's an absolute bargain, Keljorn. Especially if you're going to run it online or like table handouts.
@@fumbletable check and check
Wish it was available in print
As long as you don't include the covers, it prints pretty well in booklet form.
Any chance this works well as solitaire? Looks great but right now don’t have a group due to my schedule.
I'm not sure, I've only recently tried solo play, and that's been mainly as a way to learn new game systems
I've only heard good things. Like Sailors of the starless sea and the black wyrm of Brandonsford.
It's fantastic. I've not read sailors of the starless sea, so I'll have to put it on the list.
I have this..The print is soooooo small
They have done their best to squeeze so much into such a small space.

I don't know anything about the kickstarter fulfilment so I can't comment on that but Realms of peril is currently available on amazon.
