Chainsaw is a natural when it comes to Foresting , he loaded the trailer with such an ease. You are lucky to have him doing everything without even telling him what to do .
Cutting trees with the Scorpion King, always cut the tree with the cutter in line with the drive axis, shorten the distance between cutter and cab to about half the inner boom length(end boom vertical), work in cab view but be aware of where your target trailer is located. Cut and reverse turning away from the trailer but close enough to enter pick up range. Needs only up and down controls to be used. Should be doing at least one tree per minute ,could do two. Use 2 axle dollies for stability. Trailers are 12m long. Test by others indicate optimum return is 10m tree length. You only had the long log trailer half full and the short log trailer two thirds. Load to at least top of stakes plus two log diameters.Or more with experiance. Should be getting 70000 units of currancy per trailer fully loaded on easy mode.
Having logged that area in FS17 I can tell you that a lot of the largest pine trees were bugged for some reason and didn't play nice with the Scorpion. Only way to tell the weird ones was to use a chainsaw to see if the cutting circle was round or oval. The trees the Scorpion doesn't trim are the bugged ones. I used the tree marking mod and tested all the trees with a chainsaw before logging and marked all the good ones so I knew which to cut with the Scorpion.
Haha that grapple was going crazy! I find the autoloading trailers a bit hard to use since they dont want to pick up some logs even though I try from all angles to load them. But seems like they worked better for you.
I'm surprised you did not have any fun with possessed tree's! My friend and I have had some hilarious times on Lone Oak with trees that just rocket away when cut. Lots of love for your commitment and passion for the game
Daggerwin. Turn your saw ninety degrees and walk along the tree. Do not walk on top of it. If you've never been in the woods with a saw, you might do this really dangerous thing. I did it your way for a bit, then turned my saw and realized that I can do it how my father did, which is to use the saw in a safer way so it would not hurt me.
i am also having problem with the scorpion king............ it sometimes glitches. doesn't move, doesn't cut trees, and even it fly's in the sky :) this video is full of glitches LOL
I like forestry I do it a lot on maps and I played that map and tried forestry something to do with the logs on that map because I have that problem only one that map with the Scorpion King dropping them
Is there an auto loader for wood on console? I can’t remember. I used to do forestry when I first started playing fs. But got sick of fiddling with the logs for hours trying to wrangle them into the trailer. If I had an autoloader though that may entice me to start forestry again. Great vid daggz! Always so happy to see a role play vid pop up! Last one was great! But I like these too. 🤘😎
Ok, daggerwin I've experienced that as well if you a sort of big tree with that machine so for whatever the reason it glitches out when you cut it comes out from the ground & then you can't cut it so that's why you should get the FDR logging equipment from his website there are much better then the base game one here is a link to FDR logging website. www.fdrlogging.com/fs19mods
I think I've found something in which I'm better at doing than DW. I've always been able to operate that scorpion king like a professional. Just kinda took to it naturally. I wonder if they'd be that easy to run in real life? Where do I find the auto load trailer tho?

Oh, I wish I could have all those fun glitches in FS. They rarely happen on console.

You should try out some of FDR Logging's mods, they work and process really well, and won't drop unless you let it go
