For any people choosing teacher, be aware that even though you may be used to excessive workloads, unlike Asian or African countries where in general education is valued many parents do not value education and because of that children do not get properly punished when you contact their parents or they get suspended. Yes you can still get your skills assessment done and enter Australia with TSS Visa 482 but just know that getting your permanent residence will be a challenge.

From the little research I've done, it depends on your English ability, age, and work experience. English ability carries a lot of weight. If you can speak English fluently, not old, and and have at least some experience it feels like they'd let you in eventually.

I believe if you didn't study your degree in the US you need to take the IELTS. For teachers isn't a tall bar but if you're serious you'll study n get it.
If you are coming in as a student then most institutions will accept that, but with skills assessment in most cases they will still insist you go and sit for the IELTS

Get your IELTS and your skills assessment then find an employer to sponsor you under visa subclass 482. It won't be easy but it's worth trying

Yes it should be but the major issue with teaching is the IELTS requirements you need at least band 8 which can be very tough to achieve.
