I also make taco rice and add green onions, black olives, and diced tomatoes on top with sour cream. Im glad you and your family are ok after the earthquake. I prayed for you all.
Thank you Linna, for another lovely video. Every time I watch your videos, I’m always touched by how close and warm your family is. You put your boys first always, which is something I admire. I also think it’s wonderful that you expose them to not just Japanese food, but food from all over the world. I giggled when I saw you made taco rice. I live in Texas where everything is TexMex! Good for you for making your own taco seasoning! The premade ones are filled with preservatives and lots of sugar. I was so surprised when I heard you say “ boys, lunch is served”. It is very impressive that you’re teaching them English. Again, thank you for another lovely video and as always, I look forward to your next!
I too make my own taco and Cajun seasonings. So much more fresh and you can change it according to what you and your family likes. Your taco rice looked great and it’s nice and light in the heat! Plus, doesn’t heat up your kitchen as much! I love to go shopping with you, we have the same taste in clothing and I love it when you shop for Korean foods. I would love to get inspiration from you with Korean recipes.
That taco bowl looks so delicious. I'm Mexican and the first time I tried something like that was in the U.S. They are foods created by Chicanos, Mexican Americans. When I was in Japan I was craving Mexican food and it was very hard to find. Most of it was Chicano food, but still very delicious. In the same way that here I am craving Japanese food and it is hard to find that unique flavor. If you feel like it someday, I think you could recreate a dish called picadillo. It's very easy to recreate. We eat it with white rice or red rice.
Haha, I understand the feeling😅 I started to try new cooking because I craved for the taste and couldn’t get it anywhere 😅 that was how I learned to cook many dishes 💪😀
Taco bowl looked yummy. I like to add salsa (tomatoes, onion, garlic, green peppers, chili peppers and chop fine and add hot sauce 😊 yum) topped with sour cream is our favorite way to have taco bowls. Love the cooking on this channel and family time together❤
Back at work after my two weeks break so I'm watching from there. You'll have the boys back at school soon and you can get back into a routine. Best wishes from Northern Ireland.
I love watching your videos (especially the grocery shopping ones) because I’m learning Japanese right now, and it’s really fun to see if I can read the Japanese on the packages!! I only know hiragana at the moment but I read what I can and then find translations to see if I got it right!
I’m also learning Japanese but just the speaking part, not the writing just yet. I watch her videos cuz they are so fun ofc but also because i like to guess how much yen the food costs to see if i can manage food prices with a different currency:D
You kind of made a walking taco with the taco rice bowl! In USA we crumble a small bag of the taco chips and add meat, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and sour cream inside the bag and eat with a fork!
Aaah our lovely Linna is back, my favourite vlogger. Wonderful meals as usual, I’m going to pass on that tip about the taco rice bowl to my daughter as I know she’d love it. Thank you as always for sharing a glimpse into your busy life
It's always fun for me to see what you do with a potato. For Dutch people, the potato is the same food item as rice is for Asian people. We eat a lot of boiled potatoes with all types of vegetables (and for meat eaters a piece of meat) We even have a name for that combination:AGV (Aardappels = potatoes, Groente = vegetables, Vlees = Meat). The AGV is the most classical Dutch food. It originates years and years back: a lot of carbohydrates for the labour intensive work on the cold and wet fields. Saying hi from the Netherlands. 🤗 🇳🇱

Hi Linna, did you ever think of getting an insulated shopping bag ? Not a large one but big enough for a few bags of frozen veggies or fruit or whatever so that it stays totally frozen while you walk back home ? I have 2 but then I drive to the shops ( too far away to walk ) and buy probably a bit more than you because I shop every 2 weeks . 😊
It cook faster, and the food taste better because moist is kept in the food due to short cooking time, also washing is so easy with just brushing and water 😄

Is Japan allowing itself to be bombarded by foreigners that intend to harm it? I watch your channel because it seems so normal, safe and peaceful. I am 61 and live in the USA. Our country is such a mess with all the invaders. God help us. Thank you Linna for being me 25 minutes of normal.
Where do u think the original invaders came from? Let me think, oh yes Europe! You wouldn't be there yourself. Narrow minded thinking. Ask any Native American. Wow!
Hello friends ❤ how are you doing?
Sorry for my absent last Saturday 🙏💦
I hope you enjoy my days with my boys and also have a great day today 🥰
❤. Thank you for the post. Glad to see y'all are safe and having a good school holiday.

Hi Linna, the taco rice looks yummy. I think if you added some diced tomatoes on top it would be even more tasty. Love your vlogs.
Next time add salsa, a tomato sliced up, and diced onion! Delicious!
Hey Linna,
Take your time and enjoy the holidays with your sons. We can wait. ✌🏻

Linna I purchased an insulated shopping bag for my cold foods. This may work nicely for you as well. Have a lovely day.
Same here. I have several that are 2 sizes. If need be I put 1 inside the other to double insulate
Oh that’s is clever !!! I should do the same !
Next time I should bring along my cooling bag too 😀
More yummy meals!! That taco bowl looks so good.. supper tonight I believe.. a great visit with friends!
I hope you like the Taco rice 😃💕
So glad you’re all safe from the earthquake!😊
Ooo, the cream cheese kimchi would probably be great for fried rice!
Oh i love the jean with the pearls in the shop 😍
Oh the cream cheese kimchi seem so good
I was thinking the fake pearl might chip off easily 😅💦
Your food is amazing, I have cooked so many things from your videos. You should write a recipe book.
I am really happy to know that ! Thank you ! That is my dream 😃🎶
I am so happy to watch your new video because I was depressed today.
The pearl jeans I have the same ones!! I bought off shein!! They’re so cute!
Oh dear the typhoon evacuations and cancelations. Prayers for you and yours safety and well being of all ppl threatened by this storm

Do you mean cooler bag? I have a few but I forgot to bring along that day 💦 also the cooler bag we get here can’t really keep the food frozen 💦
yum , taco salad, i love to put chopped tomatoes and sour cream on it too.
I follow all your videos. Thank you for sharing such delicious cooking.
That Taco rice looks yummy
Also, did you know that Coca-Cola has its own song
I noticed even the iceberg lettuce looks greener than what we have in the USA. Does look delicious.
I think I know, I am a fan 😃
@@LinnainJapan Taste the Feeling,a true classic🥤
Authentic taco use cumin, cilantro salt pepper. Quite a bit of cumin. Add water and let cook until water has evaporated. (1/2 cup water)
need salsa on those taco rice bowls...adds way more flavour
Beautiful looking dinner!
Thank you 😋
I like the taste of gochujang so I'm sure the ribs you cooked are delicious.
I’ve never tried kimchi, but it looked so good! Here in America it is hard to find those ingredients where I live.
Thank you for your lovely videos! Is cooking in cast iron any different from other pots? How would you say it is, based on your experience?
It cook faster, and the food taste better because moist is kept in the food due to short cooking time, also washing is so easy with just brushing and water 😄
@@LinnainJapan thank you so much for your answer!
The only thing you forgot was the tomato on the taco rice❤
Enjoy your day linna ❤❤😊

Thank you ❤️ I wish the same for you ❤️
Taco bowls look good. I add cut up tomatoes and sour cream to make ot less dry. The noise wasnt a bother to the video. They have to play lol
I sometimes add salsa and guacamole too
The noise is annoying to me because I hear it all day long 😂🤣
Delicious dinner ❤❤😊
Only thing missing is your chopped tomatoes ❤on your tacos
Please stay safe always
