- Testing out the new No Mod Moderator by Redcornoutdoors, easy install and the best thing is no modification to your Notos.
Just finished a batch of these, have been waiting on my O-rings to finally come in along with a new sound meter to compare the difference. Thanks again for stopping by and checking out the channel Redcornoutdoors.
**warning you don't want to double feed two pellets, this can result in damage to this moderator and even your factory one with or without this add on, along with any other air rifle or pistol.

Yeah 5-9 db drop is still noticeable. I cant remember the formula or conversion but the reduction is multiplied or divided i cannot remember. But a few db drop is equal to several % reduction in noise. I wouldnt be surprised if you are getting 10% or better reduction in noise. Which is incredibly good in my opinion for just slapping something over the barrel. Anyone can install it. Super simple, super effective. Great work Angel.
Edit: according to the internet 6 db drop is anywhere from 34% to 75% noise reduction. Accounting for actual reduction and perceived reduction. So honestly Id say 50% reduction is very likely, and certainly possible. Thats damn good indeed! I knew for a fact the version I have works, and works well. This confirms it really. Great Work!
This is correct. -10dB represents a sound pressure level (SPL) of approximately one half the prior value.

I’ve had the Notos for about a month and I really dont like the stock mags so I found some on Maple custom products I bought 2-7 round mags and Iike them so much I bought 2-10 round mags they are so much easier to load

A better mag would be a plus and more rounds 👍
Planning on eventually upgrading mine to a bottle , but will have to wait and see

My Notos is coming today and I’m going to deck that thing out with an m lock rail plenum maybe I’ll end up getting an fx barrel for it I’ll get 15 round mags and hopefully some AR furniture
The FX barrel conversion kit is something worth looking into, the Notos itself is so much fun to tinker with. Bone stock works great, excellent starter PCP for young and old alike. Thanks for commenting

Quick question, since U are fellow hoosier.
I went to divers supply in indpls (east washington st) to fill my carbon fiber tank which they have before only to be told they wont do carbon fiber any more. A call to a brownsburg, and bargersville scuba shop said the same. Do U have problems filling up tanks?
So my 2 yr old 600.00 tank is useless now?

I fill my own with a Yong heng compressor. I couldn't find anyone close by, and didn't want to travel to Evansville all the time to get filled

So Funny! My buddy bought a used yong heng and I just finished a yong heng video explaining how to use it.

Have the trigger as light as possible, still so-so. Dont like the safety location., BUT Super quiet tho and shoots 15.9 and 18.1 JSBs in a dime at 30. Doesnt like hades or anything lighter so far. Appreciate your response and help. Keep Cool.
Surprisingly I had some very good luck with H&N 25gr slugs grouped great, not sure on FPS may not be enough for full expansion but they where on target at 25.

All animals have a built in target magnet when they see a human shooting a target the automatically walk to the target and sniff it or pee in front of it
I would be concerned about the bullet path alignment. But just another note to help you improve your videos, do it in a place where there are no distractions no people trying to talk to you while you're filming a video. I guess you know this already. It was very distracting.
