Doing some laundry and listening. Ended up buying that 16-35/4PZ and it’s absolutely fantastic. Crazy small/light and the PZ works really well with the FX3.
Very very insightful! Thankyou BOTH for sharing your perspectives! You're costing me more cash, Dunna! Thanks!! 😆 Great video and have subbed to Chris! 👍🏾😁
Great video guys. Some items are well past my pay grade for now, but it's nice to see what the pros are running. I liked thee explanations you both gave for each of your favorite items though. Thanks!
Great video guys. I can’t believe never never heard of 3 Legged Thing! And they are based here in the UK! Will have to check them out. I’d love to know what head you’re using with it?
Very usefull video, I've discovered pretty interesting things. But expecially for weddings there's something very needful you should try . The freedesign trilens, Every filmmaker should have one
I have both the Mini pro 3 and Avanta Drones, Best Zoom Lens-35-150 by FAR!, Yes DJI Mic, Camera FX-30, Monitor the new Accsoon SeeMo (modified to work with a iPad Mini and Last I went with a 'serious' Tripod - Sachtler aktiv6 flowtech75
I loved your facial expression when Chris spoke about choosing iPhone 14 as his camera pick 😂 You either died a little inside or wished to have installed an ejector seat in his studio 😅
What model of the rhino slider do you have? I am looking at the “time laps” bundle. But i want something easy to set up. The other one i was looking at was the shark nano. But i don’t think they are apples to apples.
Easy watch! Tech videos from people that I normally watch and opinions I appreciate, say less! I was wondering if you’d pull the Shimoda as your bag lol. Your videos on the Prvke and Shimoda bags helped me on my decisions 🙏🏾
For me the BEST Camera Gear of 2022 are the same as 2021 and it will most likely also be the best for 2023, Sony A7RIV, Sony A7RIVA, Sony 14mm 1.8 GM, Sony 24mm 1.4 GM, Voigtländer APO-Lanthar 35mm 2.0 Aspherical, Sony Zeiss Sonnar 55mm 1.8, Voigtländer Macro APO-Lanthar 65mm 2.0 Aspherical. Sony 135mm 1.8 GM and Sony 200-600mm 5.6-6.3 G. I never do video, I only do still photography, nature, wildlife, birds, landscape, macro, portrait and street/urban/architecture
I’m a little too into backpacks myself. I’ve been thinking about the Hyperlite Daybreak as an option to lighten the load for hikes. But not sure how it’ll work to fit some camera gear. Curious if you’ve given it a look
I got a few of the items mentioned in this video. Such as the DJI Mic, Peak Design Carbon Fiber Tripod, and Shimoda Explore V2. I also have a new shiny set of magnetic filters arriving in the mail sometime later this month from a company named “Maven” which is a product made by a youtuber and had a really successful kickstarter campaign earning up to $460,000 before you include all the dozens of add-on products that he’s selling. I went with this company largely because the magnetic elements compared to other competing brands are a lot stronger, also the color cast of the filters are basically non-existent, and one of the more unique aspects of them is that each filter is color coded. 3-stop nd is red for recording, 6-stop is purple for more photos like lightning photography, 10-stop is yellow for bright harsh midday light, and the circular polarizer is blue for water/sky. Idk, I think it’s a fun aspect and feel as if the colors are well thought out as well. So I no longer need to squint at the label to know which one I’m buying. Btw I also am a park ranger for the National Park Service as my day job (absolutely love that job so much) and I carry a decent amount of my gear with me whenever I see something interesting. So that’s largely why I myself bought the Shimoda Explore V2 35L because it meets almost all of my needs in a camera bag. Highly protective of my gear, big massive water bottle pockets that tuck away and easily fit my nalgene water bottles, can fit a good amount of my stuff that I need for my day job. And most importantly, the green version of the bag just looks incredibly clean with my park ranger uniform. Like I easily have the most professional looking bag out of my entire department. Yeah. It was a pricy bag, but I absolutely adore it. And those straps are just the absolute best. So comfortable to use while hiking around.
@@dunnadidit yeah I’m really excited to get my hands on them hopefully this month or next month. Once I heard of them, I jumped on them as they seemed like arguably the best magnetic filters on the market. Also the kickstarter price was like half the cost of their competitors. So when I saw it, I had to buy it.
I’d love to see a review on those kolari filters I’ve been think about getting the most one but kind of hesitant because I’ve heard it will scratch the area it’s in.
I am a beginner and want to start wildlife photography. Should I get A9i or A7riii or save more to get A7ivwith 70-200gm and 200-600g please give me a recommendation?
I did not have good luck with my Freewell magnetic system... things fell off all the time even the cap broke from its magnetic ring.. so many times carrying my camera the cap just falls off. This was a few years ago and maybe they have come out with better magnets?
OK obviously the raw quality of the images, video, is of some concern to you guys, but what when your mobile. A bit like the drone really. I have the Insta360 One X2. I get the shots that just would not be possible otherwise. The selfie stick disappears, my point of view, angle of view is in post production, its very small, very light. 360 cameras have come along, they can no longer be ignored.
A 40min video? I will watch this full thing because I like you guys.
😘😘
Came back to this video 6 months later and it's still great. Not braggy or OTT, just practical, professional experience. Love it!
Yes and many budgets solutions. One of the best channel for that on youtube.
Awww thank you so much folks! You are too kind!
2022 was a good year for gear, thanks for having me on Dunna

That Atoll will be great for portrait work. Gonna have to look into it because I always hate reframing to get centered

Haha I don’t think so, no Dunna’s in my WiFi
Hi Dunna, How is the ATOLL on a gimbal? Using something like a RS2? Switching from landscape to vertical content quickly?

Do either of you (or anyone else) have recommended carrying carts for gear? Specifically for wedding shoots.
