Me who unlocked Itu from last month Cobra event and just started playing 2 months ago.
Btw as a beginner
1. Practice using Itu with default weapon.
2. When you unlocked the second ability. The left one will give you more utility with that slowed time by making any incoming hit 0 damage to Itu.

I had itu for almost 1 year but only 3 talents have been upgraded so far
I am also dojo 9. But I have it's 2talent
Because itu is the only epic hero you unlocked
i already had all 5 talents of itu while i was dojo 9

Combos and distance are the hardest
Itu is really good but takes time to master. You need to be really proactive with the movement and use his basic attacks well which is the key. His damage is good but again he struggles against few characters.
