    Nice video. How to make a plasma ball driven by AC signal (20,000-180,000Hz)?

    I have made this with tesla coil designed by me with a 100w bulb as top load of secondary coil. The result is awesome

      @@HA7DN the wattage doesn't make a difference, wattage of a bulb is how much it resists mains voltage, the high voltage plasma globe sends current through the gas inside the bulb rather than through the filament. A 1000w bulb wouldn't be any different than a 10w bulb.

    • @HA7DN

      @@platinumsky845except size. A 1000W lightbulb is bigger and thus makes a fancier display.

    whats the difference here that makes the light blue and touchable? its the same thing.

    Can you explain me how to make the circuit of plasma ball and about the Transformer uses in this. Voltage and current ratings and what is the use of
    Transformer in this circuit.

    The two wires from the hv transformer u connect it at the two end of the bulb or one at the end and other at the side

    • @louistournas120
      @louistournas120 3 года назад

      Well, a lightbulb is a conductor so if you connect it like that, then it is not going to work. I think you just need to connect one of the wires of the transformer to the lightbulb base. The other wire should be hanging in air.

    Is your electronic transformer produces 12V DC or 12V AC?

    • @shimmysham8725
      @shimmysham8725 5 лет назад

      Probably DC because cheap transformers don't have a converter.
