- This video is a straight-up request from the subscribers. A few people have commented recently asking me if I can give it a shot and I thought, why on earth not. I love the first few Strokes albums and my ukulele arrangements of them were very well received. However, in all honesty, The Strokes lost me after at the newer albums. I skimmed over them but I just felt like the didn't jump at me in any way.
I went into listening to this album without that mentality and I must say, I really enjoyed it. It seemed to have to grit of Is This It. I especially love the track "Bad Decisions".

fell in love with this album, starting with "at the door" release, so your arrangement is asurprise, but a welcome one. would love to hear TDCC's Beacon from you, since you have already arranged two of their albums. also think that portugal. the man may sound good on ukulele, especially their "Evil Friends"
yeah you kno i found "at the door" the be really difficult to arrange. There is something about the timing that i just couldn't get right. I dont even know if i did haha.
More TDCC on a ukulele is a certainty, i love that band. Im also open to doing Portugal The Man although i would need to listen to them as all iv heard is Feel It Still 😅
@@EatMyUkei think your "at the door" sounds pretty nice. i actually dont think it should be played acoustic in the first place, kinda hard to deliver the sound of distorted synth using an unplugged instrument. tho i think you did a great work, ill definitely learn your arrangement

Awesome work, again! Your cover of the Smiths, 'The queen is dead,' was one of my favourites. It would be great to hear a little more, especially some of the singles that only appeared on compilations, like 'Heaven knows...' Panic,' and 'Please, please, please...'
