- A veteran of two spaceflights, NASA astronaut Tracy Dyson is prepared for her third mission to the International Space Station aboard the Soyuz MS-25 spacecraft, launching from Kazakhstan on March 21. This mission as an Expedition 70 and 71 flight engineer is a testament to the California native’s lifetime dedication to exploration and to her deep admiration for her dad, who taught her some of the electrician skills she’s used in space. Over the next six months, Dyson will study how fire spreads and behaves in space with the Combustion Integrated Rack and will contribute to the Crew Earth Observations study. Get the latest updates from Dyson and other NASA astronauts aboard the orbiting laboratory by following @Space_Station on X.

So glad to hear that a real electrician is going up to the space station. We the people would like to see some organization to all those wires hanging everywhere inside the orbiting lab.
Awesome job, Tracy! Keep up the great work!
Tracy's just one of the toughest and coolest person and astronaut, ...ever😊😊
Tracy is the coolest astronaut really! ❤❤❤ Very funny too! 😀
Such a cute, heartwarming, inspirational and aspirational video!
Great interview, NASA Johnson! I think this would be a great video to show to high school students to help them get interested in engineering and science.
More of This!
Good Speed Tracy see you in space.
An interesting story. I like Tracy's look and smile. She's charming. Poekhaly))

Someone who honours her parents is a great woman herself.

6:26 Why would applying a volt meter to live wires cause it to act "wiggy"? That's the purpose of a volt meter. To test a voltage. Does this lady even know what she is talking about?
She said it was called "the wiggy" in electricians' jargon. Sometimes professional call their tools silly names.
Editor of this video is doing some bad editing. The shaking of the video made me think the voltmeter was shocking her, which wouldn't be the case. That's the purpose of a voltmeter is to test voltages which you have to do with the power on.
I wonder if she wore her tool belt with suspenders on her space walk!😁😁🚀🛰❤! I bet that her EVA was the best service call she ever went on! I grew up in the 60's with my dad who worked on the Apollo guidance computer on the LEM and it's great to see women in space. I watched a lot of Tracy's videos on the NASA TV channel and I was happy to see her back in space. She is a great asset for NASA.
