I got a 2021 countryman s all 4 and want to get it to 300+ horsepower. Besides the plug in play to tune to jcw specs, what can I do to make it happen? What kind of cost would I be looking at?
so my motor is fully built/ bored out. for you intake intercooler catless / high flow cat stage 2 tune oil catch can oil cooler would help also. these cars run so hot so you want to make sure you have all the cooling upgrades in order before going for more power for just a simply tune/ parts probably looking at the $3000 especially now with prices
@UFO Bits Do you have any recommendations for the parts as far as brand/specifics? By doing all that how much horsepower you think it will push out? I've seen people have 300-500 but I still want it to be a daily driver and felt 300-350 range would be ideal without sacrificing much.
@@dustin802 i think all the supporting mod brands are good i wouldn't say ones better then another also cause i haven't tried any others then what i use but these aren't Hondas so its not like every company makes parts for the minis. so everything should be made to a good standard. i would say youd see max 300 on a good tune. anything after 300 your going to need a bigger turbo< meth and probably some internal work. im not even sure what tune i have i just know the numbers thanks to my ipad
@UFO Bits I was told a plugin to tune my S to JCW would give me around 50hp. I just don't want to do anything that will cause warranty issues as it's a 2021. I'm just looking at cost versus performance and I didn't want to spend too much. 3k is a price worth for 189hp to 300 IMO.
@@dustin802 I dont know anything about those newer minis but i do know that having the 2.0t motor with the 5 bolt wheels makes modifiying alot better for you. i would ask the dealer ship what mods oyu could do with out voiding warranty. cause they usually say you cant do anyhting to the motor
