I started the year out with a 5 star and those are far and few from me. I read Frozen River by Lawhon. This is historical fiction. A great mystery. You dive right in. The characters were developed well. I can’t stop thinking about it. I really connect because she’s a midwife in colonial times and I’ve had several kids. The way women supported each other was so moving.
First 2 books of 2024 for me were both 5 stars! 😳🤯 Tress of the Emerald Sea 🌱and Shark Heart 🦈❤ I’m normally a horror, thriller girly but I read them both for book clubs and I am so glad I did!
