OMG this is so beautiful!!! and when the light change for sunset mode, i was like : WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!!!! this is amaising, truly amaising!!!! right now i have a gold fish tank, but i want another big tank with some tetra so i can do a really nice aquascape and this video really help me understand the beauty in aquascaping! this aquarium is a perfect balance of a natural, practical and beautiful look and i am sure that the fish that live in there are trully happy!!! so much place to hide, and a really nice open space in the middle, really an amaising tank, great work :D

Great setup, I was wondering what type of lighting is used to get that sunset/night the night time lighting. I know or seen some blue led lighting but what type of background is used? frosted glass or plastic or tint or paper. Is that a light source behind the background to get that cool effect at night? what type of light setup is used for background, any regular desktop lamp?

I am curious why you chose to use the gravel mix at the bottom and then add the fertilizer layer ? All the powder soil fertilizers I have used recommeded to mix the powder with sand. Since the fertilizer is denser than the rocks it will sink to the bottom after some time. I believe that aquasoil can be used on its own since this aquarium does not have many root feeding plants.
aquaspirit1 we used this solution because in this way we are sure to give more powder power to the roots, but we think that you can use aquasoil on its own how you say... thank you for your advice

Just out of curiosity, why are there four layers of substrate? You've got gravel on the bottom, a layer of sand, a fertilizer layer, and then an additional soil layer. What purpose are those bottom gravel and sand layers serving? This tank looks fantastic, by the way.

ciao ho una domanda ho allestito un acquario di 60litri tutto bene dopo una settimana test dell'acqua perfetti ieri ho visto sulle foglie di anubias della polverina bianca e un po anche in sospensione nell'acqua, cosa sta succedendo?
+supertutto tube Ciao :-) è abbastanza normale che inizialmente l acqua sia leggermente opaca bianca, poichè i batteri devono iniziare a "funzionare", non so se li avrai inseriti all' avvio.... nel caso tu non l abbia già fatto, inseriscili e guarda se questa patina bianca va via nel giro di 2/3 settimane

I am also using 4 substrate layer's in my small 60 liter Tank..I have successfully bred Blue Dream Shrimp's in It..
