Unfortunately I played a gig tonight and was told that the S11 must have a laptop to play music, that I couldn't use my USB in the CDJs (it didn't even work, phono, line, etc). So here I am...
When I hold down shift and hit hot cue twice, my sampler and hot cues doesn’t display. All i got are blank pads. Did you Midi map them? If so how did you get the pads to have their colors? Cause when I midi mapped mine they are yellow.
I need to know how to activate slicer without Loop? I hold the shift button and slicer at the same time. I'm trying to play each bar without looping when in slicer mode. I notice the mixer says (Slicer Loop) how about slicer with No Loop that's what I'm trying to do.
4:45 umm wait what?! How?! When I do that I only get empty USER 1 mode and that's it. COMBO MODE works to have two different modes on ONE side, but sampler split to both sides giving all 8 samples on second row of the pads?! How?!?
LOL yeah of course bro. They really dont want you to buy a new mixer. Pioneer will also clean your apartment and bring out the trash. But on a more serious note... they havent even updated the s9 to individual pad modes. Which is absolutely ridiculous... I mean even shitty entry level controller for serato DJ have seperate padmodes.
What?? The top 3 software FXs are for the left channel and the bottom 3 are for the right channel?? I have the S11 i dont think thats true. Ive been able to use any of the six software FXs for whatever channel i want to use.
@@djschanz6603 It will. Serato would be crazy to keep the new features exclusive to the S11 forever. Scratch banks and dual pad modes should definitely be coming to Rane hardware in the future.
They should have made it 400 dollars more and put less features in it. Everybody would have said: Daaamn thats SOOOO pioneer! xD But its still dope. I love how they made a plastic version of the rane 72 which is sooo much cheaper.... Wait whaaat? Its not cheaper than the 72 mk2? So wtf is their point?
I was going to pull the plug but when I heard that the mixer is all plastic I retracted. Gonna buy the rane it is shameful would have been okay paying 200$ more for a more solid mixer

Hey there - You won't be able to apply Serato software FX to the line or phono channels, but you can still use the hardware FX.

thats a feature that comes in other Mixers of Pioneer But mostly its a Serato Feature
