- Can you beat Dead Island with only Paddles?
You guys have been asking for a new Dead Island video for a while now so here we are bois. I always thought fists were the most underpowered weapon in Dead island until i did my fists only challenge but after realizing that fist base power increases with level and the fact that they obviously have infinite durability means that weapons like the paddle, pipes, and broomsticks were far inferior so that lead me to taking on this challenge. I really had no clue if this challenge was possible because who even uses the paddle after the first 5 minutes of Dead Island?
This challenge is definitely hard but with a good strategy, avoiding unnecessary enemies, good utilization of skill points and some epic gamer skills this challenge should be possible, but only one way to find out... Consider leaving a like a comment and subscribing!

@@nikolaisc5555 Yeah borderlands is beatable but its gonna take you hours and hours and some bosses might end your ammo cache before you can kill them lol

Ryder isn't the main antagonist fun fact. It's kevin that is why his dlc exists just to show plot threads that were iffy and playing as ryder is genuinely fun he gets to carry more ammo than other chars.

I’m shocked you didn’t use the infinite storage glitch! And idk whether you did or not, you said you didn’t, but I would have used the duplication glitch for sure! Once you established that you could infinitely respawn the paddles at the lifeguard tower, duplicating them instead would have just saved a lot of time. I imagine you did that though, I think anyone would since it doesn’t change anything.

You need to plan out your challenges a bit better. If you can beat the game with only punching with the strategy of avoiding most fights, you can likely beat it with anything as long as the item stock is replenishable. A gradually getting harder / more click-baity challenge series would definitely make more sense in my opinion. Once I’ve seen the hardest, it’s kind of a “how to” video rather than “can it be done?!”

The paddles in dead island you can't repair them, you can't upgrade them oh AND THEY DON'T SCALE TO YOU'RE PLAYER LEVEL
Shame paddles stink. They would've been awesome if blades or bolt were sticking out like making a macuahuitil or a Eku since they're a more refined 2x4

there's a room close to where the entrance to go back the way you came is that you can go into. Ryder pops half way through.the door and you can still damage him
