Jay Leno is the Ultimate car guy. His passion for cars is shared by so many of us. He's the type of guy you could feel comfortable sitting down and having a beer with and BS'ing about your cars. Wish more people were like him.
Mr.Leno, want to tell you how much your show means to me as the automotive industry changes. The history you preserve in both education, and automobiles you have and show is a wonderful break from day to day drag of news both in America and International. Thank you sincerely for sharing your passion with the many who share similar passion.
15:09 - "yeah, they look thrilled..." haha, awesome
Never watched much late nite TV, always thought Jay was "OK", but this "...Leno's Garage" series has shown what a great guy Jay is... a guy who knows how to share the passion, kick a tire, tell a joke, take a joke, and still be a regular guy. I really enjoyed this Ultimate Car Week coverage. You could have made a dozen shows on this one experience. Thanks so much for the fun, nostalgic, and lustful look at cars!
John Manuel nope
I've always known that about Jay
Yeah Jay is a nice guy and real passionate about cars, and I like a lot about him even though I was in no way a fan of him on the Tonight Show.
When I saw this was 42 minutes, I thought, nah, too long. But I'm really glad I watched it!
Jay, I'm sure you'll never see this, but Thank you!
‘Ok out}]’e ’
What I love about Jay's Garage is the restorations. Unlike other shows where most of their new parts are installed with a trowel or take a $500 car and put $10000 worth of TV's and speakers into it just to turn around and sell it, Jay and his people tear them down to the frame and repair even the tiniest things to make them as safe, reliable and as close to turn-key as possible for his own enjoyment.
That's right... and if they can't find the replacement parts they need, they trot right over to their 3-D printer and make whatever is needed. That's about as cool as it gets!!
"Well, that thing is from 1901, I don't think they still carry parts for it."
"Don't worry about it. We got that covered!!" ;^)
Tell him he is an artist.
"You are artist."
omg lol
Yeah that had me laughing too lol
Stingray lmao
Cop walks up to Jay and gives him a ticket for going to slow.
Of course, she should have told him in Czech: Jseš umělec (if being on first name terms) or jste umělec (last name terms, sort of..). First I reckon that the guy actually understands a little bit of English and second, the sentence "jseš umělec", meaning "you're an artist", has often a very ironic connotation that really says something like "you suck so abysmally at what you're doing that it could even be called art". That's why I believe she instinctively chose not to translate because it sounds so much better and honest in English. And of course, you're not true Czech if you don't give single f*ck about thing called article.
what an airhead lmfao
Dear Jay thank you so much for all you do, can't help but smile over the range of things you bring to all of us on these show's and can't wait for more. You really do live a great gearhead life and were thankfull to get to ride shotgun with you through your journeys!
This is better than most automobile television shows.
by a long shot. I cant stomach top gear(either version). Jay is an actual enthusiast.
thejunkmanlives You'd love roadkill then
Designandrew so u prefer to watch a bunch of British assholes that only like it if its European or the group of fat meatheads that act like kids. interesting.
No you moron I said watch "Roadkill" look it up on youtube.
Patrick Murphy And it more than likely paid for with American Tax Dollars.
The best episode of Jay Leno's Garage ever! That was just great, never seen so much passion in one video !
When I saw your preview for this I was afraid I would miss it, since I rarely watch television anymore. Thanks so much for posting this.
Thank you so much for posting this on youtube and making it available for us European viewers as well.
Looking forward to more pebble beach videos.
I died laughing when the subtitle "Ed also acted in transformers 4" popped up.
AdamOrnelles i know, its like "lets find embarassing stuff about ed"
This was great Jay and crew, so glad you guys put this stuff up for us all! Thanks very much, awesome job
Thanks Jay. It's great to live vicariously through your adventures.
Much appreciated.

Jay: "Tell him his an artist."
She: "You're an artist."
:D
This may be my favorite episode to date. Jay, I am still very surprised your last comeback to television didn't lean more to a car show like this one.
"Trailer Queens", I thought of the old Sammy Kershaw song, Queen of My Double Wide Trailer 😂
Jay can really sell these shows. He can entertain and he knows when to change the subject. So even I can find it interesting though I am not a real car enthusiast.
In 77, I was a marine, stationed in Kaneohe, Hawaii, and a friend of mine was "dating an older woman", and she had an "XKE Jag with the straight six". He'd ask me to look at it, because a hydraulic clutch was unusual at the time, and I repaired it for him. I took it to about 160 going out the front gate, without it even breaking a sweat. I still love that memory. Jay, you really do us a good service, showing your cars, and everyone else's.
34 million dollar ferrari gto!?!?!??!?!
OMFG. WOW.
Its so cool how Jay Leno goes out of his way to film this stuff. I love it!
I thought that Jay would raise his hands , just to screw with them all....For him thats play-money.
stevehislop well, it's 10% of his net worth so I wouldn't call it play money necessarily..
Jay, this video was excellent. Great editing, nice fast cut scenes and very entertaining to watch! I was a bit bummed when you retired from the Tonight Show but this video here goes to show how good of a car show you can make when you have some time. Excellent work, and please keep it up for us enthusiasts' sake!
Mr. Leno IS a car guy.
I'll be her for the next one.
"That guy's called the fluffer. Gets the engine going a little bit." I see what you did there, Jay.
16:10 Jay leaning on the old wood! YIKES!
The look he gives @ the very end right @ the place where Jay has his foot after Jay saying “ Thanks for preserving it”. 😂🤣😂
Jay is crazy.
Thank you so much Jay for this episode, just fantastic. That Jag is soooo beautiful. I hope to see more like this in the future.
“I don’t think I’d be too frightened in battle if I saw that comin at me.” Hahahahaha
@Santus Scanderbegus ,
and building a log cabin, hunting wild boar, and building the Golden Gate bridge, and laying those RR rails all across the continent, and building the Erie Canal, and the Panama Canal and going to the moon and winning Indianapolis, and Daytona, running a B/Altered down the quarter mile, and riding horses out west, and building another rocket to send to Mars, and you?
What a treat! A 42 minute video! Grab your popcorn yall! c;
Judicael Goudal I woke up early this morning to watch it.

Pure gold......Love Jay, He really KNOWS his stuff where cars and bikes are concerned.
Jay is re-living! You can almost tell for sure he's glad he now can put all his time into his passion
That was great. I really enjoyed that. Thanks for sharing
Hey Jay, that was without a doubt the best video you've ever done. Love that Alfa. Great job, You should be congratulated. Keep em coming. Cheers from down under. Rob
What a trip! A personal tour of Pebble Beach's Concours d'Elegance by the inimitable car aficionado extraordinaire, top shelf TV host and master comedian Mr. Jay Leno! What a very special treat this was for me! Thanks Jay!
Thank you Jay, for uploading the CNBC show. It is very much appreciated! Keep up the good work.
Thanks for taking us to Pebble Beach, Jay, we appreciate this!
Great show Jay!!! Absolutely love your content! this is one of the best you've put out so far! Love the show! you are the car guys car guy! : )
Jay, I didn't want this to end. It was a great look into the world of automobiles, fast, slow, first and the best. I love your show! I love you on the Tonight show, but I know this is your passion and it shows.
Thanks for doing these Mr Leno. For a car guy like myself, it cannot be topped.
"2 million pounds including....." "Floormats?"
Lol
Dude, Jay was brutal with that LeBaron 'woody' kid. Lol. "Single, I'm guessing?". Bwahaha
Jay is doing a fantastic job he's the very best of Master of Ceremonies. His insightful questioning keeps you on the edge of your seat. He doesn't need the pretty girls you keep your attention, he's the whole package himself, humor, fun, and the mystery of what's next. Surprise, surprise, surprise.
JL, Thank you to you and your crew for this Vid, I have downloaded it to watch it again and again, all the best from the Philippines, Cheers, warm regards to you and your Family
Best show ever Love Jay!! Miss him at Late Show he is the best all Love to him from Sweden

Can't lie this was very entertaining
Love it Jay! Laughing and cars ...
I love your show Jay. I’m 78 and the jags take me back to when I had a mark1 2.4 then the 3.4 mark two Saloons in the sixties. The mark one had spats on the rear wheels . You are so right about the women loving them especially when I had the red seats.
Thanks Jay for making these shows, you're awesome.
We need more episodes like this ^^
1989 town and country lebaron wagon was my first car in 2003 lol
I always parked far away so as not to be seen getting out
Super Nintendo Chalmers
One of my 1st cars was a Ford Escort. Although you have me beat, I also had a Ford Escort wagon, a '78 Plymouth Volarie, and a '78 AMC Matador. I picked up girls in all 4. I was also only 17 by the time I had the last one so it was easy to impress 15-16 year old girls. God I miss those days. 😏😏
Jay, love this show. I am 77 years old and can relate and remember things you talk about and show. I use to watch your tv show too. This is fun for me.
Su video que me recuerda mi primer auto un Dodge cupe que vendí en 100 ds.hoy vale mas que cosas saludos des de el confinamiento UNA LARGA VIDA SR. JAY

Thanks Mr Leno,Great episode.
Holy crap he's wearing different clothes.
The whole video was amazing! Really enjoyed watching it.
Thanks Jay!
Awesome! Thanks for putting the show on your channel Jay!
This was the coolest episode
The fluffer quip is probably the dirtiest joke I've ever heard from Jay.
...Yep...
@@ghubbard184 I'm not sure that these people know what a fluffer really is.
Google it,I guess.
that's like George carlin talking about snapper lawn mowers.....most people don't know what snapper meant at one point in time
I appreciate the fact that Jay Leno decided he didn't need to be a "Potty Mouth" in order to be funny. As the famous Red Skelton once said, "If you have to use profanity in your act to get a laugh, your material is NOT funny".
Canada had a brilliant comedian named Russell Peters, of Indian decent, who used to be hilarious and could equally insult anybody from any culture and have them laughing at themselves as well because he did it to everybody with pretty convincing accents. Now he's just degenerated into the same vulgar vein as most other comics these days and I don't bother following him anymore.
I find it particularly ironic that Larry David and Jerry Seinfeld co-created the #1 Television show of ALL time without resorting to this crap, but then Larry decided he needed to do Curb Your Enthusiasm, which is generally a profanity laced sitcom full of F this and F that and F you, that I dare not share with my grandchildren.
Society has gotten so used to this verbal diarrhea that some kid non nonchalantly says F You Pig to a cop and then gets himself blown away!
@@claytonroot806 I will
So glad this appeared on the RUclips channel here -- I totally missed it when it aired on CNBC.
Another great show!
What I Love about Jay the most is how he wants to drive the cars!
ohh, geniuses at Jaguar!
I d love to have this!
always loved that car!
cyberfrank 2010 ?

cyberfrank 2010 i dont watch your videos, i had a "?" because i hadnt seen the jaguar bit yet.... 1 week ago...
Thanks For that Jay
RE-watched this... just as good as the first time. Jay has a good sense of fun, which kinda makes it..
Joy & his team make great shows . I like the old & the Odd machines.
"single man im guessing" HAHAHAHAHAH OMG
I died at that.
31:05 Mr Potato Head? No disrespect whatsoever, it's just the lighting focused on his nose and mustache in combination with the glasses made me giggle lol
way to go guys! well done. Jay you are a true ambassador for us ear heads. taking us along for the ride to see things we might never get to see. thank you!
Jay, thanks so much for all you do to share with us and the future.
You know it's going to be a special episode when he's not wearing denim
I know right
He's a pretty sharp dresser when he's not in denim lol
There is nothing wrong with wearing denim.
It just so happens.. hes is going to be around people who can buy, afford, trade and do mait on a McLaren P1.... WITH THEIR SPARE CHANGE.
THOSE YABBOS.. are supposed to see Mr Car Man.. in his full regalia along side 50 different paint jobs err editions of the Bugatti Veyron all costing 30k more than the last.. and all above 1.2mil.
Just saw this- I would love to know, Jay- what is now on your wish list for cars? What historical, or new cars do you want to buy now?
An awesome display of cars, I remember the lightweight E type’s racing in the 60’s very well.
Thanks Jay! You rock... Love your stewardship of cars.
omg, that old-new jaaag... sweeeet
Actually its a "NEW" Old Jag.
Tadas cool
Best channel on RUclips
A truly great show by America's premier showman. You are doing great things in preserving our automotive history and I hope your collections will stay together forever, I always remmber how quickly Bill Harrah's collection melted away.
Thank you Jay and your crew for all you do
For me I would like to see them redo the D Type Jaguar.
dphotos well, they sort of did. They called it the xkss, and they've rebuilt a few exact brand new cars - laser scanned, and with the old paper plans, exact down to the last rivet.. Richard Hammond drives it on the Grand Tour. They sold for more than 1 million each.
OMG real production value, Jay is that makeup?!!!
this is from the TV show
You are truly the man Jay. Love your show cant say it enough!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This was sooo cool and informative. Thank you, Jay!
Very entertaining.

Genuine fake wood paneling. lol How come everyone always rags on the Pinto? They were way ahead of their time, they were the first Transformers. Just hit it in the rear & it turns into a Firebird.
You know that that there has only about 50 pinto's that were documented that caught fire after a rear end accident. All small car's at that time had the gas tank in the the same place except the bug and that was right in the front.
With Firestone tires...double jeopardy.
then there was the fiero....that one transformed into the inferno!

Nice video Jay - one of the best you have done. Thank you!!!
You do a great video Jay.. I appreciate what you do for the hobby. Thanks
Did that guy in the Cayenne just give Leno the finger? 4:00
Yep! XD
Looks like it! You think someone who could afford one would have more class.
I don't think so, but funny either way. I'm certain it was more a wave and not a finger.
He did
lol...
What I think Jay, I think some people just have too damn much money....
I could watch hours and hours of this. Great job on the show!
Gems. .Thanks to Jayster. .and his support Team. .

Knowledgeable, down to earth, humourous and inviting. Thanks Jay.
Thanks for sharing. This is as close as some of us will get and it was enjoyable. I noticed Jay kept his hands in his pockets during the auction. At least he could have scratched his ear or swatted a fly! Thanks again.
