well they should reskin the buttons aswell, like they did in WoTKL before.. (maybe grayish, white'ish just like the logo or smth. that fits the exp. theme)
KeineAhnung I agree, Wotlk was the only expansion where they changed the colors on the buttons. And it looked great! They should really do that again.

Say what you what want about the expansion and it’s weird story and decisions, this theme kicks ass.
They should have had it where at 0:36, Sylvanas shatters the Helm of Domination and the sky opens
3:00 that part is so beautiful omg ... It'll probably be used in an important event, maybe even in a cinematic you guys think? Reminds me a bit of Nazjatar's theme, but I loved it

Oh how I miss the days I played wow. Haven't played since wrath, the music was always killer.
Come onto Sunwell private server, ICC releasing in a few days. Make an account now and on the 22nd everyone will be allowed to make one character that will be instantly boosted to level 70. I'm the same as you haven't played since wotlk, but will come back for pre-patch, if it holds my interest, great, if not, WOTLK private servers that are actually great will always be there as a fall back option.
@@OCSmoke8 Why skip the leveling? Wotlk has the best leveling and it is what makes it so enjoyabl. I actually really dislike the max level content as it is purely raiding and rep grinds.
@@stefanmilovanov3398 Just to have another char for those who have already been through levelling before on retail. Some people prefer end game. Just letting people know as it's a short time offer for those who might be interested.
No can't go back now, besides the journey was amazing when it came to leveling.

The music just keeps getting better and better.
The quality of the content is always up in the air, but the music always gets me excited for an expansion.
I dunno, this music sounds pretty monotone to me. It does not have this melodic order than the older tracks had. Like all older themes used to have a majestic finale piece and here it's completely gone. It's all just a remix of all zone themes.

For some reason out of all WoW login screens, only this one doesn't click in for me. Only beginning and ending were fine imo but all in the middle was... boring.

Login Screen: 6/10? I was honestly hoping for a shot of the Helm of Domination broken in 2 while we see the Shadowlands c.c
That would be cool but it's tradition for the login screen to be some sort of gate.

Blizzard is such a garbage company these days. The products they produce are bare minimum effort shovelware, and the company is let by assholes that don't care about anything but lining their pockets. The art and music people are the ONLY people left in the company that actually put effort into their work anymore. But they do, and it shows. While WOW is still Blizzard's "best product" (that's not saying much), it's not very good anymore. It's a shame that WOW has fallen as far as it has, but damn the art and music is still amazing.

My hunch is that this music is intended as an overture, like in opera or musical theater: it should summarize the main themes of the entire work and (in this case) set it in the larger context of the Warcraft universe. As is common in overtures, there is a clear stylistic shift from section to section, and given how much (say) the part at 8:24 sounds like Venthyr, I'm pretty confident that they've included arrangements of the main musical themes for each of the zones in the game, just like the BfA login screen music did.
If some of it sounds abrasive to you, then I expect that's because the music from certain parts of the main game would also sound abrasive -- and the music team at Blizzard is good enough that this is almost certainly intentional: they're using the music to increase the tension and raise the stakes, which is entirely consistent with how they've used music throughout WoW and with the general tone of the game. The Maw, for instance, is intended to be a dangerous, unwelcoming zone, and I'd expect the music for that zone to reflect that.

The last good one was WoD, Cata, & WOTLK.
This one is a MAJOR step in the right direction. It was beautiful.
Might I say, may even be their best one yet.
