lol that Ghost album is AotY for me. I get why people dislike Twenties, there's a decent amount of theater kid energy you'd need to be on board with for it but I think it's genuinely creative and well written with colorful campy lyrics. Maybe it's because I went from symphonic metal and Faith No More in my teens to black metal now and my brain is poisoned but it sounded like Ghost doing a Nightwish song and wouldn't be out of place on a playlist with Igorrr on it. Love it.
I gotta say, I'll always defend twenties. Is it weird? Yes. Is it flamboyant? Yes. Are the lyrics wacky? Yes. All reasons I fell in love with the track. To me, it sounds like the villain song of a ghost produced musical.
It quite literally is a villain song since the theme of the album as a whole is the rise and fall of empires. It is very obviously about a very theatrical tyrant that wants to overstay his time. (orange man)
I just think it's too much. Really, too much. Dance Macabre for example had a chorus that was so catchy, but this? It's honestly really hard to listen to, and I really like Ghost.

I think one of the biggest issues with Guetta's "I'm Good" is that it barely changes anything from the original track except mainly the lyrics. I knew guys in middle school who came up with better lyrics to put in there that could have been a half-decent remix. ("I'm Blue, if I was Green I would Die, if I was Green I would die?") Point being nearly anybody who heard the original misheard or appropriated the lyrics for some joke or reference at one point or another. And they came up with..."I'm Good, Yeah I'm Feeling Alright." With barely any song changes. It's just so fucking basic, the original was at least interesting for it's possible allusion to depression coupled with bad 90s animated music video staples. This one can't even bother being worth that.
