What is the IRR after tax and royality?
Perhaps it would be helpful to compare this with SQM?
The Chilean Mining Council, to which large private companies belong, assumes that the average tax rate will be 44.7 %, exceeding the peak value of 38 to 44 % in competing countries such as Peru and Australia.
Argentina, by contrast, offers an attractive investment regime - 35%
corporate tax rate, 30-year fiscal stability (taxes cannot be increased) from the date of the feasibility study, a 3%
royalty rate😃, and accelerated depreciation treatment.

Hello Rodney and Howard. Long-time listener; a first-time commenter. I have been investing in the lithium space for a couple of years. Retail investor. I love your guy's work. Thanks. I have several comments - not sure what the best space is, but I'll leave 'em here on RUclips.
First - thanks for the new series. I've been working my way down your list of companies - I've done DD on around 50 now - I found a couple of these companies that you're interviewing that I like. Surge Battery Metals has been a stand-out for me. Two others that I really like are NOA Lithium Brines and Lithium Ionic. It would be cool for y'all to interview those guys.
Second, for Surge - their resources are clearly awesome. I have a few concerns about permitting and mining. I'm not fully clear if they have all the drill permits. And they have a land package that they only have 25% rights to. I'd love you guys to get the CEO to clarify those issues - can they drill everywhere yet? How much bigger can the resource get? If they mine what agreements are in place with the 75% land owners.
Third - thanks for tracking with Winsome. I have a concern with their Adina land package - it's sitting right next to another company. In fact, half the deposit is sitting with another land package. Does this cause concern for future mine plans? I've never heard the CEO talk about it.
Fourth - another thing I'm interested in learning more about the mining and processing side. I'd love to hear from someone who makes Lithium Hydroxide or Carbonate. Like - what's the hold up at Kwinana? I'm sure there's a reason, but would be cool to hear from someone on the plant.
Anyway - love your work and thanks.
