Absolutely love Tom and Rage against the machine! I was so excited to see my worlds collide lol Also I love come play but I feel it missed some 3racha elements. That is kind of how I could tell they weren't involved. I feel like they have a great way of adding a bunch of crazy different noises that fit the theme of the show/movie that they are doing a OST for and not to mention the way they change things up beat wise etc. I am curious what it would have sounded like if 3racha had been involved in the process. Either way it was still so SKZ! I don't think they could have picked a better group than SKZ for that song.
The boys had no part in writing or producing this song, they're just the performers 😊...still a great song!!

@@tonystocco what I read is that arcane have in-house producers and they're very strict with who sings their song. They produces the songs and will seek artist that fits the song. It is very rare if those artist produces for them I think it's to make sure the ost align with the storyline as much as possible. And now u say it this sounds so skz, it does make more sense it's straykids that they chose instead of other artist for this song.
Now I'm wondering if they allow RUclips reactions. If the video disappears it won't be cuz of me!

I believe it was a song made for a dance competition based tv program. It's a stand alone and I don't think it's on an album. Absolute playlist banger - one of my most played songs. I hope you'll love it.

Since I see comments making a point that SKZ didn't write it...so ...3Racha has produced 23 albums, OST's, singles, etc...Idc if they didn't write or produce the song. It's absolutely SKZ flavor and they killed the song! I love this song and I am addicted.

I'm actually more excited for the Kids, especially Felix, who loves playing games. I know he plays Leagues, so this must have been a dream come true for him. The song is great, and I appreciate their strictness tbh. So many things get marred by outside influence when the creators dont follow the lore, etc. (*cough cough* Halo series *cough*) So while I know SKZ would have done an amazing job on their own, as a group who has a love of games and anime, they would just be honored to be asked to do something for such a huge franchise.

Edited: Interesting note, this is only the second time EVER that Stray Kids as a group have been on a song with no writing/producing credits! The previous one was also a collab for a soundtrack, though I’m not sure the version with them ended up being the soundtrack as it was an already existing song. I’m assuming it must have been part of the soundtrack deal behind the scenes because they’re quite particular about being very involved in the music they put out, but luckily they were in good hands! I’d love to know more about that process honestly, and it would be interesting to know if they had any input in the recording booth directing. But they’re massive league nerds, so I imagine this felt insane to them😆
Edit: Just read another thing saying that Arcane is super super strict with their soundtracks and usually have their in house producers make the songs and pick artists that fit. That makes sense, and if SKZ were approached with this opportunity to be on a soundtrack for one of their nerd obsessions😅 it could have hurt them less to let their need to have their fingerprints on everything go.
They’re still quite good at making things their own with the way they use their voices, it’s all very characteristic of them and their sound for everyone to sound unique-instead of trying to blend their voices like a lot of groups with a bunch of singers do to be less overwhelming. I think it still came out nicely here:) Honestly, as an older stay, I feel like with knowing they didn’t produce this, I can also kind of hear it just in the track and structurally in the composition. But their characteristic vocal tone trade marks are so strong that that’s why it feels so them. I could be reaching there though lol:)
It’ll be fun when you can start recognizing their trademarks in their individual vocal tones and stuff later on in your journey. Musically, they’re the gift that keeps on giving the more you listen lol.
I don't think that's a reach at all! This is kind of a weird one in that I could hear it wasn't quite *them* from nuances in how it was produced and mastered (e.g. less depth to the layering of sounds) but the energy and the vocals still help it feel like SKZ.

I wouldn’t have been surprised if it were them exactly, because they can do so many different things and take so many different approaches and you can never get too comfortable with what they’re doing, but knowing it’s not them behind it also makes a ton of sense. One of those times where it’s not shocking either way. It might be redundant to say again, but they’re just too good at making every song feel like theirs no matter what. Kinda why it’s fun to see them collab with so many people or do covers. That versatility🔥!

It's one of the very FEW projects SKZ (3Racha especially) did **not** have a hand in writing or producing.
Tom Morello wrote it (in collaboration with some other ppl) and I think he helped produce it, too.
Young Miko is a Puerto Rican rapper. In addition to her rap part, her voice blends really well with the song and Felix's voice, especially.

I wish SKZ had more of a hand in writing/producing this, but also love what they did with the track! Young Miko really surprised me, she just fit into the groove between all of them so well! I really hope her and SKZ do something else together, because I think it'd be excellent. Tom Morello of course didn't disappoint at all. The song is very catchy and vibey overall. I don't play LoL and haven't watched Arcane yet, but this makes me want to give it a shot.
You won’t regret it! I don’t play LoL either, but Arcane stands on its own! The vibe of this song is very “league of legends” so might enjoy the rest of the Arcane OST!

If you look up the song info it shows Tom as one of the writers and also a the first producer listed for the song. Young Miko is a hot new Puerto Rican rapper. Arcane is an anime worth watching. The animation is done by Fortiche, an incredible French company.
Tom produced the song, Young Miko is a reguetón singer, Stray Kids only sang the song and their voices are layered. It's a great song.
I was eager to watch your reaction to this esp with Tom Morello on the track. Didnt expect it this early though lol I kinda wish they showcased more of toms guitar skills but it's still an awesome collab!

Arcane is a great series with a very passionate team behind it, that team is usually the one to produce/write the soundtrack to match in-story, and then they look for the artists that best fit what they made. So it's not a surprise they went with Stray Kids, this is right up their alley!
It is a magnificent song - love that the ptb saw our boys as a perfect fit for the music... It is so powerful and dynamic, love the production, and now I know about Young Miko, too!

The main screech in the song I assume is Morello using his kill switch on his guitar. That’s pretty signature Morello.

hey man great reaction! This songs maybe produced from the Music Team of Riot Games which own Leauge of Legends. I would suggest to listen to songs they produced like KDA POP Starts or Kda Villian... theres a lot to explore and the production is top notch!
This was a straight-to-playlist banger for me as well (ofc, I'm already a STAY). I'd also like to see a behind the scenes or MV with SKZ, Morello, and Young Miko working on the track. My guess is Morello is all the guitar work. Looks like Riot Games paired up SKZ on different parts, which isn't how we're used to hearing them but it works well here!
I was shocked 3racha didnt make this song as well but thats probably the reason why it gave vibes from the songs from s1 like playground but i really like it

This is exactly everything I expected coming from them and Morello. I'm so so so in love with the song. He appears credited as producer and composer, but not 3racha. That Young Miko girl sounds a little odd to me but after a couple of listenings I got accustomed, and their harmonies sounds beautiful

The last season of arcane had imagine dragons as their theme song and I think this works very well with that in the overall theme of the show. It is a brilliant show and I recommend it 100% if you like visual aesthetics

As someone who grew up with Rage Against the Machine, I don’t hear Tom Morello either. Like the bit at the end but that was only because I was trying to find something. He does have a composer/producer credit on it so it’s possible his name was included more because of that.

as i know (i might be wrong ) riot make their songs themselves. also skz dont have any writing-producing credit. Even though I don't know Tom Morello's style, he probably couldn't show himself for this reason.

This is a great song but it’s missing the breaks to give breath, or negative space (if that makes sense)? The bass line and beats would benefit from that human touch that SKZ production brings.

Great reaction, Tom Morello was all over the song but specially on the whole start of the song, that's one of his classic guitar sounds ^^
Apparently the people who makes the show more often than not decides what kind of song they want already through the story board process, so they contact artists who they think will fit what they have in mind to do what they have composed themselves or do something similar and that are willing to collaborate (apparently they had lot of issues to find artists for the first season because the companies behind the artists didn't want to "waste resources in a cartoon", little they knew the impact this show would have) I think that's why we don't have the usual Morello guitar break, because is not that they composed a song and the Arcane team bought the rights to use it it but most likely Arcane team asked them to do what they had themselves in mind.
In some cases, from what they explained, they let the artists present their own compositions but, they said themselves that don't usually work cause they are too picky in what they want.
One way or another, is still a big deal and a great song! Can't wait for the show release

Hi, if I may recommend a song I know you will love, BTS has Mic drop with Steve Aoki. It is brilliant and I know you will love it. The views will do well as the army is strong as well. I don't recommend all their music but that song goes hard! It is a crowd pleaser and is just pure noise! (Which I love)
