One of the best bands of the past 15 years. Really like their music. They should tour a few cities in the US. That'd be awesome.
TheProgGuy They hit the U.S. after every album. They'll be here in March. I've seen them in Chicago, LA, SF, and Tulsa (opening for the Foo). Just saw them in Vienna and Munich in October. They were great, of course.

@@philpants44 Foo Fighters in 2012 probably. I also saw Greenday at the Hammersmith Apollo in 2006 i think, which was a close second.

I cried during both Folding Stars and Machines when they played them. Absolutely magical - Biffy were unarguably the best act of the weekend.

Being up the front for this crazy!! Everybody was so pumped! Even the steward Graham who was one hell of a laugh. The atmosphere was insane!

Still remember that I was gutted to miss Phoenix on the NME stage but this may well have been one of the greatest Reading Festival headline sets of all time - a band in their absolute prime before the festival was steered away from rock and roll.

I saw them live at Leeds 08 and I've got to say they manage to sound so much bigger than a three/four-piece during their choruses.
I still prefer their older stuff (Infinity Land is my favourite) but I understand they can't stay the same forever and there are still glimpses of the old Biffy here and there in the new tunes.

I know those "Best Live Act" awards don't actually hold that much weight, but surely Biffy should win... every year.

also, the BBC should record every act from over the whole weekend or just main/nme and create a DVD, EVERYBODY would buy it
This year Green Day had a 2 and a half hour slot to fill and although they've been around for a long time and don't get me wrong they have some immense songs, they don't have enough good songs to keep a crowd enticed for that long. That's my reason for disliking Green Day this year anyway

I think Biffy will silence the cynics with their performance at Reading... a few old songs thrown in and plenty of impromptu Simon Neil screams to keep the old school Biffy fans happy. What a band. Mon the Biff.

So these guys aren't even known in the US. Stumbled across them on YT. It just boggles the mind how many great bands get overlooked depending on where you are in the world... especially in the internet age. Killer song, love their live stuff... their studio stuff is a bit over produced and less inspired though. Think they should stick with the raw rock vibe on albums.

i live in australia mate, wasn't there, but read enough reviews and seen hundreds of videos to know they're good. What part of their live shows aren't good? you must go to a lot of gigs that have backing tracks as their "live" show

what do you want him to do, play lead and sing at the same time? i know that he does a lot, but it's incredibly challenging, plus biffy aren't a boy band, boy band's only consist of vocalists
You can't see every person in the crowd on this video as it's dark. You weren't there so you wouldn't know.
I went to LEEDS FESTIVAL instead of here because it was all full and that...... But when we went to leeds he was amazing there to !!!!!!!!!!
