What's adorable and touching is that Jiji's silly nature isnt something he developed out of some need for identity or of such. He took these goober qualities because his parents actually behave like this. They are all a family of loving adorable dorks. This is pretty much a natural part of Jiji growing up, which just further adds to his sincerity and what makes him a great character.

She doesn't really know (or, at worst, doesn't dare to think) that he likes her, but she does know that she can't push him too hard because he tends to get flustered and clams up. She sees he's bothered by the situation but can't address it directly because she doesn't want to presume that he's jealous because he likes her. So a "see you tomorrow" is about as much as she can ask of him at this point.
The 12 episodes per season limit is the Bain of my existence. There are so many good shows with season finales that don’t feel like finales because the studios didn’t care where to end it off.

It'd probably bump the episode count to 17 or so rather than 12. I still have to disagree with the idea that there are no good stopping with Dandadan, there are several arcs wherein the ending is conclusive enough to satisfy the main story beats presented, regardless of the ones being seeded
I love how Jiji was introduced as Okarun's rival for Momo's heart. and In .5 seconds of him being seen as a threat. He becomes the goofiest bitch in the entire series instantly

Jiji may be dealing with a lot of stress regarding his cursed house and hospitalized parents but I'm glad he's hanging in there. Stress like that is really bad for your mental health and attitude but Jiji is a dang avatar of good vibes it would seem.
First of all i hope you get better of your sickness. Something that i noticed watching this episode is that Jiji and Aira work not only as love rivals but like antithesis to Okarun and Momo. Okarun has no confidence, bad physical condition and loner. Jiji is a very charming guy, overconfident and makes friends easily. I think what makes Okarun better for Momo is that he actually listen to her and relies on her. Jiji is a good guy but man he really try to pull that prince charming act and fcks things up.
Idk about the whole Prince Charming act, since I can’t say flirting with everyone is a “Prince Charming” by any stretch of the imagination. They get along as close friends, since they’re both equally wacky. But I think Okarun fits better cuz he listens to her more and is more gentle in contrast to her brash personality.

I dunno about the anime, but Ataru conspicuously NEVER confesses to Lum in the manga, even in the final arc where the fate of the world seemingly depends on it (because he knows she’d never be able to fully believe it if it was given under duress). This is the dialogue on the final page, after the crisis is resolved: Lum: "I'll make him say it if it takes my entire life!" Ataru: "I'll say it on my deathbed!" ??? (offscreen): "So, you're going to spend the rest of your lives fighting?" Lum: "Yep!"
I love the little detail of Okarun’s go to move when he has his powers activated is to dive head first….so when he saw Momo during his workout he dove into those bushes to hide his face and Momo was like : “ Oh you’re practicing your ultimate move? “ 😂
This show is a master class of how to make cliff hanger endings. It amazes me how consistent it happens and makes me scream at the tv how it ends after big build ups.

Jiji is imitating a particular character of a particular comedian who is basically a dumb but well-meaning party boy ("Ka-wa-weeeee!"). All four of the main characters are such morons each in their own lovable way. High school was a dim memory from long ago, and I try to tell myself that my friends and I weren't this stupid, but we were so much dumber.
