This soundtrack is a flawless masterpiece
Distortion is a sick track.
Had so much energy doing Toxic Dump with this haha
thats right- it goes from disturbing to quiet kick ass
It's the perfect song for doing a toxic dump while listening to.
Wait, what.
@@lancebaylis3169😂😂
Thank you father for making my childhood so bad ass. 💯💯💯
I'm not your Father....... Luke!
@@MarkTDKKnight Hey Mark where can people find you and/or contact you?
"Music belongs to its owner."
Mark Knight! He's that genious :)
Ha, thank you 💪🏻
@Juan Carlos Bohorquez Marcelo Thank you! :D

Dude, I absolutely love the work you did for Duke 3D !
@@pessimisticnihilist7338 :) thank you !
The bar music track is my favorite on the soundtrack! Well plus Stalker. Glad those songs are in the beginning of the first episode because I am not very good at this game so it makes the hours of running around wondering what to do next worth it!
PS1 Duke had some good soundtrack.
38:11, Episode 4 level 1. I played this game way too young but still managed to beat the first three episodes, but this level kicked my ass so hard that I never saw the rest of this episode. Banger of a track though
Thanks for the upload. I love this soundtrack!
The whole soundtrack of this port is incredible, but the "Bonus" theme takes the cake, it's so awesome it's ridiculous! The guitar solo just gives me goosebumps, flawless arrangement from Mr. Knight! I'd kill for guitar tabs to this theme.
Thanks. I've not idea how to make guitar tabs I'm afraid, sorry. (I'm a violinist).
great port. great music.
Thanks!
The port is bad but I’m still buying to have them all and the music.
@@MarkTDKKnight Just completed Total Meltdown, amazing soundtrack, instant classic.
50:37 if they ever do a Blake Stone reboot. hopefully the theme is like this.
38:27 this music is as iconic to Duke Nukem as Grabbag I.M.O
1:32:10 has a very John Carpenter vibe to it.
I'm a big fan of John Carpenter as it happens, so yes it has - well spotted! :)
I like 1:53:58, Distortion. Wouldn't sound out of place in the Half-Life 2 episodes or Alyx soundtrack.
Distortion is my favourite, you can’t help but bang your head whenever you hear it!
Thank you for the great upload!
"Eat shit and die..." !BOOM! Great upload man!
I could honestly listen to the first one all fucking day. True badassery.
gotta say 'Atmospheric' has some sick tonal/harmony progressions. Slightly outerworldly- driving- it reminds me slightly of the classic Unreal/UT soundtrack
19:56 this song can be heard in the N64 version of WCW Nitro
Very good . Enjoyed this one big time
I never paid too much attention to the PSX soundtrack because the first two tracks were so off putting but i played so much Duke (hundreds) this is so fresh actually!!
Bar Music: MORTAL KOMBAT!!!!
38:11 brings back memories instantly of the first time beating the first level on plug N pray, so many hours one night figuring out that confusing mess of a level and dealing with those controls, shout out to all the kids like me who only had shareware duke on the pc so we had to live with this terrible port
Mark Knight did this version justice with some great reinterpretations of the PC soundtrack. Listening to all these alone made bearing with playing a pretty underwhelming PlayStation port worthwhile.
Damn... Chemicals Fuck Yer Head and Chemicals 2 Yer Head sound like something from Quake 2 but... Duke-fied
AND I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!
using the Methods of Mayhem sample CD
01:09:55 shake it baby
This and perfect dark were the best
doom ps1 version: mystery movie ost
dukenukem ps1 version: midnight dance!
Funky!
If I ever grow up I wanna be like the king....the Duke not them pansy kings
DO NOT GROW UP. IT'S ALL SHIT IF YOU GROW UP!
duke nuk'em
👍
This soundtrack is so good. Sometimes it sounds like a german band "Megaherz".
I thought it sounded more like Ladle of Soup!
"Atmospheric" sounds something out of N64's GoldenEye.
And, "Metallic Horrific", out of Doom.
And "Chemicals Fuck Yer Head", from Quake 2.
O_õ
And "Dubspace" kinda makes me remember Strife's soundtrack!
AAAAHHHHH!
AND "Echo and the Harewomen" SOUNDS JUST LIKE "Big Little Advanture"s MUSICS!
OMG! D:
They're likely using the same sample CD's - Methods of Mayhem
The pob track where stage play?
An unused stage called "blank"
"Music belongs to its owner." WTF dude, at least put a proper credit. The original PC music was written by Lee Jackson and Bobby Prince, and Total Meltdown had arrangements of the PC music and additional music specifically written for the PS1 game by me, Mark 'TDK' Knight. Please put this in the subject. Thank you!
Done! Thank you for notifying me.
@@thedoominator Thank you!
The pissed it box where play?
