Sister Flo, you always have a way of taking me down memory lane. I can vividly recall how we go to bushes to fetch firewood and we will get this Uma leaves in large quantities-We would use some and sell the leftovers.
All these new generations children will never understand. Chai Life!

The way you washed the beans so clean is absolutely beautiful.
The smoother side of the Uma leaves is where the food should go into.
After 45 minutes of cooking. Oririri adaa.
If you know that you salivate at “ Open your mouth” at the sight of this yummilicious moimoi, gather here for a selfie.
Odogwu, thank you for helping us taste the food. 😁
Sister Flo, What are you wearing on your lower body that is tempting Odogwu?😆

    • @FloChinyere
      @FloChinyere  7 месяцев назад +3

😂🤣😂 My fellow Ajọ Nwa! I'm sure you can imagine what I was "wearing" that would be tempting Odogwu. I just pulled down my onesie, put on my black top to end the video. I don aready relax while waiting for the Moi Moi to be done.
Nne eh, the mortar method of peeling beans is the best for me for real. It's only this method 👉ruclips.net/video/GJ-59hri0cg/видео.html that beats it in efficiency and that's even only when making in VERY large quantities to justify going to the market to crack the beans.
I'm glad you enjoyed watching this video. Thank you for the feedbacks. ❤❤❤

I use the "rough" side of the leaf. I crack and strip off about a third/quarter of the spine as it make it malleable for folding the bottom. This exposed spine infuses the moi moi with an even more intense leafy flavour.

      I bet you cook with
      Corn oil
      Canola oil
      Sunflower oil
All the above mentioned are pro-inflammatory seed oils.
      Animal fat is healthy.

    • @FloChinyere

I'm glad it was a fun therapy session for you. 💃💃💃 Collect mine ké? With this moi moi preparation, I succeeded in clearing all the moi moi leaves in my freezer including the ones from 2 years ago! 😂
No, collagen is good. That stock you use is collagen if you used bones to prepare the stock/broth. The one that has been given a bad name by health experts is the OIL I got from the process of extracting collagen. I used the oil to cook this Moi Moi. Watch the following video to see me separate the two: ruclips.net/video/mz1Gg4LPxw0/видео.html
But I don't listen to all those expert talks because give them 4 market days and they will come back and swallow their words. As long as I am not drinking the oil, the human body is equiped to take care of these things when taken in moderation.

    • @FloChinyere

Maybe it's because of the wayo bone from ndi Ogbete?
Also, freezing is NOT what makes it jelly-like. Put it in the FRIDGE and when it chills, take out the congealed oil at the top and you'll see the wonderful jelly collagen beneath.
