Sister Flo, you always have a way of taking me down memory lane. I can vividly recall how we go to bushes to fetch firewood and we will get this Uma leaves in large quantities-We would use some and sell the leftovers. All these new generations children will never understand. Chai Life!
The way you washed the beans so clean is absolutely beautiful. The smoother side of the Uma leaves is where the food should go into. After 45 minutes of cooking. Oririri adaa. If you know that you salivate at “ Open your mouth” at the sight of this yummilicious moimoi, gather here for a selfie. Odogwu, thank you for helping us taste the food. 😁 Sister Flo, What are you wearing on your lower body that is tempting Odogwu?😆
😂🤣😂 My fellow Ajọ Nwa! I'm sure you can imagine what I was "wearing" that would be tempting Odogwu. I just pulled down my onesie, put on my black top to end the video. I don aready relax while waiting for the Moi Moi to be done. Nne eh, the mortar method of peeling beans is the best for me for real. It's only this method 👉ruclips.net/video/GJ-59hri0cg/видео.html that beats it in efficiency and that's even only when making in VERY large quantities to justify going to the market to crack the beans. I'm glad you enjoyed watching this video. Thank you for the feedbacks. ❤❤❤
I use the "rough" side of the leaf. I crack and strip off about a third/quarter of the spine as it make it malleable for folding the bottom. This exposed spine infuses the moi moi with an even more intense leafy flavour.
The longer throat at the end provoked me.😭😭😭...Let me go and make my bone broth first and then add the oil to my moi-moi. I'm even salivating while typing this🤤 let me hurry up!😋...Thanks for sharing!🤗
😋😋😋But you cannot cook and eat it alone. Please send some to our houses. Next time, I will use the front of the leave (I'm hearing this for the first time) when I cook moimoi. I was taught to use the side you called the back all of my life.
hehehe, I saw a video from 8 years? ago and I was already saying that in my videos. That's how I said goodbye to my kids when leaving home to go anywhere. Chai o! Glad that the wrapping finally clicked for you. I even have a video from 12 years ago dedicated to that. Here: ruclips.net/video/3JfrriTk0QQ/видео.html
This was therapeutic and fun 😂 I actually thought what you call collagen was bad though, I never cook with it. I freeze my stock abit and take em all out straight to the dusinbin😂😂😂 My moimoi leaf don finish o😅😅😅 Flo, I'm coming to collect some of yours 😅
I'm glad it was a fun therapy session for you. 💃💃💃 Collect mine ké? With this moi moi preparation, I succeeded in clearing all the moi moi leaves in my freezer including the ones from 2 years ago! 😂 No, collagen is good. That stock you use is collagen if you used bones to prepare the stock/broth. The one that has been given a bad name by health experts is the OIL I got from the process of extracting collagen. I used the oil to cook this Moi Moi. Watch the following video to see me separate the two: ruclips.net/video/mz1Gg4LPxw0/видео.html But I don't listen to all those expert talks because give them 4 market days and they will come back and swallow their words. As long as I am not drinking the oil, the human body is equiped to take care of these things when taken in moderation.
I already have Okpa 9th Mile recipe on this channel since 19kpirigidim, actually 10 good years! Here you go: ruclips.net/video/KiOI54ao2Mc/видео.html No be today I start to release gems. This my channel is achoba, afu. Just search "flo chinyere YYY" where YYY is the recipe and RUclips will bring up the video.
Flo, you are a funny lady. This looks amazing. Can these beans be purchased in the US? I enjoy your videos. Because I love learning about foods from other cultures.
I already have it: ruclips.net/video/ccjOaLGqiX8/видео.html Quickest way to find a video on my channel is to search "flochinyere recipe" on this RUclips eg in this case search for "flo chinyere moi moi with beans flour" and you will see the video.
At all! Whenever I get a comment about how clean I am when cooking I just laugh. They need to see the floor where I transfer everything to keep the work top and sink clear. I don't clean while cooking, I don't clean up afterwards either. I call someone else to handle that part 2 biko. 😂
I tried making bone broth, aunty,i laughed at myself shaa😂😂😂😂, anyway I didn't get correct bone, ogbete butchers gave me ihe masiri ha in the name of bone
Next time tell them to give you the bone from ụkwụ efi. Then they should cut it into pieces for better collagen extraction. Ndo, ndi Ogbete emee gi iwa. 😃😆
Maybe it's because of the wayo bone from ndi Ogbete? Also, freezing is NOT what makes it jelly-like. Put it in the FRIDGE and when it chills, take out the congealed oil at the top and you'll see the wonderful jelly collagen beneath. Watch the bone broth video again: ruclips.net/video/mz1Gg4LPxw0/видео.html And in this vlog 👉 ruclips.net/video/7jxPHXHwzEM/видео.html you'll see what the bone broth looks like after freezing. But that's the only way to preserve it for longer.

We must come from the same era. These newborn babies can't relate to most of my references. 😂😂😂
Is this man your brother or your husband?. You look like twins separated at birth at different times. Thank you Flo. GOD BLESS YOU.
I was just about to comment the same. They so much look alike.
The mystery of marriage!

It's out of this world. Took me way back to when our parents settled down to prepare the best Moi Moi. Yum! Abeg run fast and prepare it.
Flo what you said about the leaf is correct. That's how my grandma taught me. I was using my eye to eat.
Grew up with this too. It's on social media that I saw the back being used to hold the food. 😆
Very nice and rich ,thanks for sharing and God bless you richly in Jesus name.
Delicious ❤

Corn oil
Canola oil
Sunflower oil

Correct
If you have a Ninja blender, you can peel the beans with it.
My curiosity was on how you would thaw the leaves
Idi too much.😁
Flo, you are a funny lady. This looks amazing. Can these beans be purchased in the US? I enjoy your videos. Because I love learning about foods from other cultures.
Cynthia yes you can buy it in the USA, it's black eyed beans.
Glad you enjoy the videos. Thank you. ❤❤❤
The portion with the obvious line iS the front to pour in your beans paste.
Very yummy delicious ❤. Please is that black eye beans?

Aunty flo pls i would like to know why you put eggs
Source of protein, it also helps the texture.
I love you
Everyone has disorganized kitchen when cooking in bulk. We clean up afterwards. Nobody sees behind the scenes.😁

Maybe it's because of the wayo bone from ndi Ogbete?
