A lot of love for these things! My pop, a Wo2 in the Australian Army, commanded an m113a1 when he was deployed to East Timor. One time he crushed a disc in his back when they drove under a low hanging wire, which ripped him outta the turret!
M113 is the best maps like Kohat where it can be possitioned on hillsides far from enemy troops yet still able to effectively engage enemy infantry on hill sides. On maps where this is not possible it is best used to cover obvious sight line like Police station intersection on Mutaha. In M113 you are at best slightly better armored RWS TAPV which extra ammo.

It's kind of cool to have this in the game, but it's just another shitbox, just like the Bulldog and the MTLB. It's a waste of tickets more often than not. Wheeled vehicles continue to just be way better than tracked ones in Squad, because the driving physics are so awful and tracked vehicles are too easy to immobilize. This only makes Canada a weaker faction in the game, since now instead of just getting LAVIII's, 6's and TAPV's, they might get this thing in their place. Until OWI fixes the driving physics so that not every slight incline gets your tank stuck, or make tracking vehicles demand more than a single LAT hit to the side, tracked APC's are gonna continue to be nothing but a "cool little addition" to the game, rather than an actual viable vehicle to use
I'd argue that the bulldog is pretty op...so long as you don't expect to use it against vehicles. It is a little slower and less maneuverable than the M113A3 but bulldog has stronk armour
@@MBooley But once you track it (which is super easy to do), it's as good as dead. The open top Bulldog is as useless as any open top vehicles, since it's super easy to just shoot the gunner out. The Crows one only has a light machine gun... So, shitbox. It is kind of insane how many tandem hits that thing can tank. But aside from survivability, it has nothing going for. It's a mobile MG bunker that is gonna be stuck 90% of the times
