This movie was nothing short of amazing. It took 6 yrs to make and I feel they captured everything they could in the allotted time.

I feel like everybody wants to critique the movie for something but at the end of the day it's still "entertainment" and Hollywood is only gonna allow so much to a movie because they know what sells. Regardless how much of his life it's missing out this movie still employed fresh upcoming black actors and actresses and that's a dope win in the community.

I'm gonna say one thing about the movie....D. Shipp was fucking AMAZING. Whatever you think about the script or production is up to you but you can't take away Shipp's performance. You couldn't find a better actor to play 'Pac in a million years, salute.

I saw it opening night. Some of these comments have made me a bit jaded now but I gotta say I cried at times. It was a good film. I wish it was edited better tho.

Don't try to hype it up. Movie was average at best. Demetrius really looks like Pac, but that's about it. Voice is too different, he didn't bring Pac's energy, moves, laugh. And script was really terrible.

Too bad most of the scenes are made up just so movie could look better.. LT made up pretty much everything between Pac and Jada.. which she said never happened like in the movie.. and he made a reply video pretty much saying that he made stuff up so it could look better.. if i wasnt a Pac fan i wouldnt care, dont get me wrong i watched this movie 5 times or more so far and just to enjoy the acting of Demetreus he played 2Pac beautifly, the movement the voice the gestures he did it perfect. The stories flew through the movie it was like a trailer, Straight Outta Compton did it waaay better. Because we waited so long for a Tupac movie i expected way more..

Very disappointed in the story. They had a decent cast but the story didn't deliver. Plus LT lying he had been trying to get the rights to this movie since 97. Boon while a good music video director didn't have the chops or experience to direct this film and it showed. I am one of the biggest and loyal 2pac fans I know. Shit made me mad that this movie wasn't epic or legendary WTF. They made a decent lil movie about one of Black America's biggest stars ever. We will see another movie because this wasn't the film has legacy deserves.

BUT... 3 points on the film 1) Afeni did not cuss like that.. 2) There was something wrong with Jada's right eye in the film - in 2 scenes she cries there is only tears coming from her left eye.. They should of got the real Jada to train up the un-seasoned actress Bahaahahahaaha... 3) Better Editing needed in the first 45mins.. STILL a Great Film... Tears and Fustration in the end of course..

Its a no for me..The movie was ok it lacked originality and some of the scenes was not accurate. The whole movie was things we already knew and seemed like a 2 hr music video. I love pac but this movie done him no justice. Probably why his mom never wanted this movie out...
