Thank you for keeping the bunnies safe with that green border alongside the hedge and also the polar bears indirectly because it also helps reduce the hole in the ozone layer and maybe acid rain, not too sure about the last one .
I bet that right made his day with the operating the combine. If it wasn't for your channel then nobody at his work would believe him. Good to see the bit left behind for the wildlife. Thanks for posting....
great seeing older trusty machines i grew up with a ransome then we got a new holland 8050 but dad had no idea to shut to cab door and use the aircon - retro fitted to stop the dust, at 14 i spent my entrie summer cleaning and dusting the damn thing
Have to tell ya. Quickly becoming one of the top channels I enjoy watching. You are very genuine and make your viewers feel like weve known you since kids.
Tom you rock!!!!! That delivery driver loved that! What a brilliant idea to get your lunch time! 😂👍 you do so much for the environment and wildlife you really should be commended for it! ❤
Great video, Tom loved the delivery driver doing some combining wish it was me that is the only thing I never got to do when on the farm. Grwat to c the 2 old massey combines out working they lo9k amazing
Nice video tom looks a very nice sample nice to see your not frightened to let people have a go.i drove a mf 40rs when I first moved to a job in oxfordshire
Love too see these fields 4 weeks after harvest.. never seen a field that a massey combine's cut that doesn't look like a zebra crossing..😅 P.s where's your 2% admix..that money thrown away buddy...😢 Loved your comment " Anyone can do it..".. Anyone can throw half the crop over the back...😮
Good to see an MF combine working instead of the more common makes ,I no long have a farm but nearly 50 years ago drove my first Massey A 780 Special then a 500 which was replace with a 525 all came to us at over 10 years old ,the worst was the 525 with the grain rethreasher on the back being a real pain as it could wrap with straw if slightly damp but needs must if you had to harvest in Scotland in Late October or November Father once finished on Boxing Day using the predecessor to the 780 a converted bagger to tanker MasseyHarris
Tip.... drive straight and gentle movements with the steering. Woops, that's two tips! There, Tom paid it forward. Great stuff lads. Is he a band member by any chance?
Hi folks 🎉Hi Tom, lovely to see you are getting on with harvest, the combines look great they motor on and a lovely sample as well . Great laugh with your lunch delivery top man 🎉
Nice one Tom. Delivery driver could have a sideline job starting 😂 Also, we need some Tom Lamb merch - request a “Now We’re Farming” top with a massy silhouette
Your takeaway man didnt do bad if it was his 1st time. Havent driven a combine for 20+ years, but sure it wouldnt take long to get back in the swing of it. Keep the drum a hummin Tom.
New sideline for Takeaway delivery drivers. Helping bringing in the Harvest. Not what he was expecting to do when he started work. No doubt he will want to have a go again on the next food delivery.
Ahoy Tom , Been a while since my last useless comment but I am back 😆, Hope you and the family are good. Right can you do a video for us non farmer , farmer fans about how the combine actually works , I know there is a spinny bit on the front and choppy bits but then witchcraft happens and grain magically appears in the hopper and stuff flies out the back, a bit of an engineering/semi educational video would be nice. Cheers
Where would the world be without barley? No Beer, no Whisky! Thank you Tom!! (Tom Lamb, Let's harvest some Barley) (Tom Lamb, let's kick some Colin's Ass)
This idea seems strangely familiar.... When I was a young bloke, I'd be sent out to take lunch down to whoever was driving the combine that day. Park in a certain spot, next time they went past they'd stop and make me drive while they ate. Like most farm kids: if you can reach the pedals, you're qualified to drive it! And god help you if your lines weren't straight!
Awesome, good thinking of finding a way to eat a kebab and fly a drone whilst combining, utilise free labor lol. The tank looked clean, years of knowing the machine or just a mega talented farmer?
Sorry Tom you must be sick of seeing my name by now lol I appreciate, against popular characterisation, that farmer's really do try to work with nature, your margins scheme where you mentioned hares and bees etc, years ago i watched an article/programme, where they belittled farmer's cutting margins, these said leaving the high grasses to wilt over year on year created a deep mutch habitat for moles and voles, encouraging owls to the hedgerows for hunting, in your experience is this true or just another eco anti farmer whitewash Thanks Tom Geoff
Can you give us a bit of a warning before you start bombing down the field in a tractor trailer after driving the combine? Nearly had an anxiety attack!!!
Thank you for keeping the bunnies safe with that green border alongside the hedge and also the polar bears indirectly because it also helps reduce the hole in the ozone layer and maybe acid rain, not too sure about the last one .
Love the fact you leave the strip for birds, wish more big farms would do it. Brilliant job Tom.
Nice thought leaving a strip for winter feed for the wild birds!
I bet that right made his day with the operating the combine. If it wasn't for your channel then nobody at his work would believe him. Good to see the bit left behind for the wildlife. Thanks for posting....
You got that right!
Genius move there, I can't think of anyone who wouldn't want to have a free play in the combine while you eat your lunch.
Brilliant to get your lunch delivery driver to drive the combine while you eat.😊
Marvellous 😊

The combines have valmet engines

Big shout out to Danny the take-away driver and to you for letting him take the helm. Crackin'!!
After the busy season, you could work with Colin on a power sweeper attachment or over an old tractor. Or a power sweeper drift trike.
Great video Tom I was expecting Col on his pizza delivery bike not a real takeaway driver 🤣 keep up with the excellent video 👍👍
Thanks 👍
Great video, Tom loved the delivery driver doing some combining wish it was me that is the only thing I never got to do when on the farm. Grwat to c the 2 old massey combines out working they lo9k amazing

😁
Nice to see you looking after the environment where you can. Why/what did you spray the barely with?

So taught Colin how to stack bales that intresting idea 😂😂😂😂

Danny the Uber combine driver, LOL Keep on farming Tom
I think your training up a relief driver, great way to do it and getting your dinner. ?

😢Tom, the trick is to lay the tin foiled kebabs on top of the exhaust manifold to keep it warm
Thanks Tom for your fantastic video's can you advise me is the Massey Ferguson 3095 a good tractor or leave alone
Good
How much does the combine hold. Nice video 🇬🇧👌
If I bring food can I drive the combine? Pretty please Mr Tom? 😃
Proper kebab delivery man 😂😂 Get the man from the Chinese delivery next time ! See how many delivery drivers you can get driving the combine 😂😂😂😂😂
Next time!
Tom Lamb, the Just Eat delivery driver for birds... 😏
Tom, correct me if I am wrong. The yellow paint on the reels, If you line that up with the standing crop you are filling your cutting bar?
Is that what there for ?
@Tomlamb980 I don't know, but always had a suspicion that's what they are for.
Get Gerald from Clarkson Farms to drive the combine!!!
Who is gonna pay for that "birdfood"?
Just found your videos Tom. You must be Richards lad! How do you like your 8S. ?
@@AndyJ5431 I’ve had 5 there very good
Did you remember to top up the ad blue on the Combine 😅

You make me piss !!!!😂😂😂😂😂😂
Interesting 🤔 does Danny have any carpentry skills
Firstly what Kebab did you go for? And wheres the best place to get one in Stamford?
Lamb seish
So Dsnny brings you a kebab and he gets a go on the combine.
What happens if he brings pizza? 😅
Hi, how many acres are you combining
500
How many acres do you farm Tom?
550
@@Tomlamb980 enough to keep you busy then😂
Puts my 6 acres of woodland to shame ;-)
Where do you farm and how many acres
Lincs 550
Be better selling the three combines and buying one bigger one and cut ur 3 small bars in one big one
Sounds dear
