I used to see him on nights out, drinking with friends in my home town of Hertford in the U.K. I think he was fairly well heard of at this point but not massively famous. I never expected him to blow up like he has! Seeing him on the Ellen Show has baffled me to how famous he’s become!
I can´t believe what a fangirl I became for him, I have never! been this way in the 43yrs of my life. Before I listened to several female folk pop songwriters and for male singers only people who are already dead! When his music got through to me I said to myself, he´s more than I ever wished for. 🥰😇

He said in an interview on the Graeme Norton show that he couldn't sing when he was younger but he heard people speak about some singer (can't remember who) having such a powerful, deep voice that you'd need to turn his records down. He said then that he gave it a go et voila, we are left with the beauty that is the voice of George Ezra!!
