    The horrors of living in that prison are unimaginable. To want death rather than endure further torture speaks volumes. Thank you for bringing us this story. I wish I had comforting words.

      But why do they have reporters like Christina Goldbaum who can say things like "Me and my colleague went to" rather than "my colleague and I..." Such bad English for the New Yok Times! I mean, is that OK now?

    You should interview Theo Padnos too. He is an American who has been subjected to torture from the other side. I go this feeling that this type of torture is prevalent in the Syrian society and they got used to do it to prisoners. It is time to educate and call for changes to such type of brutality in Syria!
