I just finished everything from this series and this is probably my favorite animated series ever. Im so attached to all of them and the animation and story telling are top notch! Im really hoping they continue and make more, the potential is endless!

If you watched the movie you will know, because it's explained there, actually in the serie, the time is after he meet Wu Xian. So the movie is about how they know each other. Also if you're interested there's a spin off manhua about Lao Jun (the person from the first season ) it's called Lan Xi Zhen but I don't know if it's translated.
