i’ve heard sooooo much hype about the keys glow serum and i’m glad that someone was finally honest for once about it. i’m kinda bummed about the ordinary shampoo and conditioner not turning out that great, but thank you for letting us know. 💙💙💙
My beloved, sassy, fabulous, VERY missed grandma’s signature scent was White Diamonds! It’s not my favorite scent profile but I absolutely adore it for sentimental reasons. She’s been gone for almost ten years and I opened up her hope chest a few months ago and I swear I can STILL smell it on her favorite scarf. Probably a psychological trick but hey, talk about lasting power, lol!
I agree about the Skylar fragrances. I absolutely love their Fall Cashmere scent but it just doesn't last and it's so disappointing bc I love it so much.
"These have always brought me luck..." White Diamonds!! I am so skeptical when new products go viral - occasionally something is worth the hype (love the Milani Color Fetish Matte Lipstick!), but most of the time they're okay at best.
Hallo, The ordinary Shampoo and Conditioner I understand. For me it was a great detox and upper hair conditioner. But I now just buy it for my Son this is the only shampoo and Conditioner he can use that doesn't make his eyes hurt and cause swelling and headaches , worsen his complexion problems. For this I am very grateful, and when I use this my hair stays cleaner feeling longer between washes I don't need the dry shampoo as often. I am a high maintenance hair person too. I have Olaplex 3 and just not impressed I want that soft flowy hair feeling and need the conditioner and hair oil it says not to use. Maybe I am missing something. As for REM not a fan either so many other better choices. Love your channel and reviews so detailed and informative.
I’m not a makeup junkie, but I haven’t heard many positive reviews of the REM line at all. Also, that’s a bummer about the perfume. It sounded so good. Did you look up to see if others had the same experience?
I actually bought two of the eyeshadow gel pots and I like them. They picked up fine on a brush for me and looked great on my 51 year old eyelids. Less is definitely more. I’m wondering if there is maybe some inconsistencies?! 🤷🏻♀️
I find all the Skylar fragrances fade away super quickly. I tried their same pack of like 6 different fragrances and none of them had any staying power. I don't think any of them are worth the money since they don't last.
I get what you said about the Ordinary hair products being „too simple“ for your liking. It‘s quite funny, for skincare I‘m also totally into their concept of making products as simple as possible, also because my skin is very sensitive. But for hair products, I also like them to smell nice and this and that… so, I totally get it, even though it doesn’t really make a whole lot of sense. 😄
"Natural" perfumes dont last long, to begin with... & white florals & soapy/floral scents dont last long either & since the skylar perfume has both of those factors, I think that's why it doesnt last... but it is a beautiful scent! Love skylar...have a ton of their scents in my collection, but they def dont last near as long as my other scents- still think some of their scents are worth it though! (Love fall cashmere, vanilla sky & pink canyon!)
I have a travel atomizer or 2 of a scent that's nice but not long lasting (EA Green tea and its flankers, Burberry Sheer) in my locker, they're there just to spray off the skank from really smelly patients or after changing a patient's diaper. That way when I see another patient, no one will complain my fragrance is overpowering.
I tried a Pacifica body/hair scent and stuff from the Mix Bar and they are gone instantly. Everything really smells lovely but lasts maybe an hour. I doubt even that. I will just use it up but really a pass.
I completely agree! I have a two year old roller ball fragrance from Pacifica that just sits on my dresser hardly used because I keep thinking, "why bother?" It's not even worth the effort of carrying around and re-applying throughout the day. To be honest, the scent throw sucks too. Not that people should smell me accross the room, but come on, there's got to be SOME throw there. I should just get rid of it lol. No idea why I haven't. 😅
I'm thinking I saw Angelica Nyqvist do a video with the rem gel metallic shadow and she was able to get it to work with a brush better than anything else. I wonder if maybe she used a different type of brush? Or something else? 🤔
The way you explain the Keys product is exactly how I feel about the new elf powder foundation. How are all the RUclipsrs loving that junk?! 🤯 it may look good on initial application and under studio lighting but IRL it’s AWFUL. Sits HEAVY (I’ve tried it so many ways to try and make it work 😣) settles into lines I didn’t know I had, and looks like a thick slab of makeup in natural light. Hate it!
I have become immune to the term “viral on TikTok”. I don’t watch that platform but seems that the standard for becoming viral is much to low. I usually wait to purchase item that are over hyped for several months so that some real reviews surface. ”
Be careful trying to "smell a perfume on yourself", because other people around you generally have faaaar faaaar better sniffers than you. Same way you don't smell your own BO with natural deodorants (oh don't even get me started LOL). Maybe ask someone else?
All those Alicia Keys products are soooo boring. Majority of beauty ticktockers use beauty filters so they’re face looks so bright and perfect but that’s why no one should trust anything from tik tok
i'm LOVING the darker hair on you!
Thank you!!
this color blue looks amazing on you!

Girl my mom wears white diamonds too! And yes they still make it. My dad buys it for her every Christmas.
Girl you gotta try Dossier scents; they're like generic dupes of Replica, Tom ford, chanel, etc. Plus they're cruelty free!
I love them.

Clarins Natural Lip Protector please. The best but higher priced!
I just picked up the touch shade from rem and I use my finger and love it as an inner corner highlight

That Keys serum is 💯 just the ELF illuminating primer repackaged.
Girl, you are looking fab in that pink today!! Ty once again for giving us the tea 💜💜💜

I avoid just about anything that goes viral on TikTok. Seems like more often than not they are disappointments.
In LOVE with your hair color 😍🤎

I've read a few reviews that also say it fades but I'm sure it is a bit different for everyone!

I have the let me glow serum from keys soul care, you can honestly get the same look from much cheaper products at the drugstore too
I agree!
I hope you try Treslúce Beauty! I don’t see many people review it, and it’s a Latina owned brand

I would love to try skylar, but they don‘t ship to Germany 😔
On alicia keys i only like the moisturizer the other products dont work good on me.

Vanilla sky is my holy grail. ☺️
Yes! Fall Cashmere is my favorite!

I've shaved my legs with Suave conditioner for 25 years lol
Nothing works better, and the price is right!
it really does work the best!!! I switched to it after a friend recommended it.
I tried a Pacifica body/hair scent and stuff from the Mix Bar and they are gone instantly. Everything really smells lovely but lasts maybe an hour. I doubt even that. I will just use it up but really a pass.
I’ve had a few Pacifica perfumes I’ve loved, but they had NO STAYING POWER whatsoever. It’s a shame, I loved the scents.

Not completely related but I actually used up my benetint 2ml sample today and YES it takes long 😂
It would be amazing for you to do a video on cruelty-free fragrances!
What did you use to dye your hair? I absolutely love that color.
What are your thoughts about Jones road?? The new brand by Bobbi brown
I haven't tried anything yet!

Just shows how personal makeup really is. I like the powder foundation, however the Elf camo CC cream is terrible on me and so many rave about it!!
@@valerietodd2024 💯 🙌🏼 yes! So true. I don’t like Elf cc cream either but I do LOVE their creamy Camo concealer and the halo glow loose powder.

James Welsh reviewed the Keys serum and said the same thing…too much mica in the product that is visible.
I really like the elaluz bronzer ❣️
It is on my list to try!
What’s on your nails??😊
I agree, Skylar has the best scents but disappear so fast on me.
So the keys serum turns you into a twilight vampire? 😂🤣😂🤣 I had to do it lol.
Good morning, Kelly!
Good morning!
Coach does that for me bad. Tom ford some are worst then others. Dior last on me literally all day

The color of your shirt is stunning and it also suits you the best of all 😍

I don't know how you people use conditioner as shaving cream. It just gunk up my blades...
❤️❤️❤️
I was never interested in The Ordinary shampoo since it contains sulfate, which is a known hair color killer.
I'm so happy you and Ulta partnership!!
❤️❤️❤️
