The priest would examine the sacrificial animal to determine that it was "without blemish" before accepting it for sacrifice. Pontius Pilot was the stand in as he examined Jesus and proclaimed that he "could find no fault in him." And the high priest would sprinkle animal blood only on the left side of the mercy seat. Rabbi's had a tough time explaining why that was the practice. Jesus's blood went on the right side, just as he took his seat at the right hand of God.

I saw a documentary that showed the Ark of the Covenant was captured by Nazis. When they opened it they were all killed by God. But there was an American archeologist there who survived and took the Ark. It was eventually confiscated by the American government and was last seen being stored on a massive warehouse. 😁
The ark of the covenant was made out of an outer layer of gold, built out of acacia wood, with a gold layer on the inside as well. This is how you make an electrical capacitor, two conductive surfaces with a non conductive in between. There are lots of stories that hint to it being a weapon of destruction. There are stories of people touching and dying when they touch it, they called it a curse but the way the deaths are described seems like they were electrocuted when they touched the covenant.

If we go straight up with the Bible, it does say that the only people that could move the ark were the people selected by God. They also tried to move it back then and this same thing happened, In the Book of 2 Samuel, a man named Uzzah who met a tragic end while trying to move the Ark of the Covenant. Just in case here is the Bible verse. 2 Samuel 6:7 (New International Version) “And the anger of the LORD burned against Uzzah because of his irreverent act; therefore God struck him down, and he died there beside the ark of God.” Uzzah’s demise occurred when he reached out to steady the Ark as the oxen stumbled while transporting it.

The Bible says it is under Golgatha. Jesus Christ's blood needed to run over it in order to complete the sacrificial atonement. It's kind of why there was an earthquake to facilitate this. I saw a documentary that showed the Ark of the Covenant was captured by Nazis. When they opened it they were all killed by God. But there was an American archeologist there who survived and took the Ark. It was eventually confiscated by the American government and was last seen being stored on a massive warehouse. 😁
