I put the Store Delivery mod in my mod folder but it's not showing up at all, add a couple more mods with the same issue. Validate the files several times and still no joy. Any good recommendations to resolve this issue? Think about doing a reinstall because I can not play on the US map due to in-game camera issues, but the two other maps work just fine.
@@FarmerKlein It has been converted to FS22 and is in use by several other players. I followed their links to the mods but just did not show up as downloaded mods.
The Documents\My Games folder is part of Windows so it would be there if the game is installed or not. the mods folder is auto generated at game launch if it does not exit or you delete it.
So if you download a mod from modhub, that doesn't show up in the ingame modhub, will it auto-download for friends who want to join in multiplayer? Or will they need to manually download them and install them seperately?
If the mod is from the Giants mod hub then it will auto download when they try to join the server assuming the mod is released on their platform. This also assumes that its the current release of the mod.
Does this make a difference form where i downloaded fs22? For example I downloaded it from the Xbox app since I have game pass. Do I need to buy it from steam to get all the pc specialized mods?

Mods are the same for any pc version. So yiu can install them from the ingame menu to add them manually to the mod folder. Yes for steam you need to be logged into steam to run the steam client to launch the game.

I actually found the mod folder now the thing is ,is that only some of the mods I downloaded are showing up in game when I start it shows the mod with the check mark but it's not in game when it loads ?? @@johncalvey96 Can you give an example of one? Not all mods have something to show in game because their script based and as such change how the game behaves vs there being something you can buy or directly make use of.
@Farmer Klein I got the dev controls working now I was putting them into the wrong folder (pdlc) I found the the correct folder the main reason I got it on pc was for the terrafarm mod lol I usually play on xbox. Terrafarm is showing up and checked ,but when I load a game and try I still can't dig it's drivin me crazy lol I really appreciate your help
What mod browser or website do you prefer where where i can get like a RAM 3500 for example and i dont have worry about issues and viruses becauseit is safe to download it? And is more cars and pickups in the pc in-game mod browser than what consoles has? Hopefully all this makes sense

@@johnathanjohnson5367 I wish I could tell you X site is good and Y site is bad. about the only clear cut black vs white like that is the giants mod hub would be assured clean mods while other sites do not have such assurances. To sum it up in quickly. Look at the giants mod hub. Then compare the mods on the mod hub to the mods on Y site. If you see the same mods on Y site that are the Giants site then one of two things has happened. 1) the site is linking mods back to giants (good) or 2) the site has downloaded thse mods and is hosting them on their own servers and offering them up for download (bad). In case 2 the site has done a pair of things. First Giants pays modders for their work based on download. Those sites are litrally stealing from the modders by rehosting the mods and not sending the downloader to the Giants site to download thus mod authors get no credit. Second most often those sites post the file on downloaders that server up ads in exchange for their services and pay the site some number of pennies or fraction of pennies per download so the site ends up making money off others work while keeping the creator from their own compensation. Any site what hosts mods on that are also on the giants mod hub vs linking back tothe giants hub is not worth using. No site that I am aware of does any sort of malware scanning. Giants does test mods so back to my inital statement there the assured clean place. Thats also not saying every download is bad. There are thousands of mod websites out there and thousands of Facebook pages of moddrs who post things on those. The in game mod hub is the only way mods can go on console. PC players have mod options as we have access to the file system.

Your mod folder as well as your save game folders are in the same place regardless of what platform you purchased the game on for PC. C:\Users\Documents\My Games\FarmingSimulator2022 unless you moved your Users folder or your Documents folder and if you had you would have known that and adjusted the path for that. Within that folder is the mods folder.
You add them the same way download them to your PC and then move them into the mod folder as you would any third party mod downloaded outside the mod hub.
Hi, so I'm having a problem. When I go to buy the mod I just installed it won't let me buy it or preview the actually product that I'm buying. All it says is purchasing your equipment or sum like that. Does any one know how to fix this? and yes I've already tried going on steam and verifying the game files.
Could be a bad mod. Depending on where you got the mod it might now work. Look in your games log.txt file to see if it gives any indication of what might be going on when you try to view the mod your trying to buy.

And yea that's what I thought at first too but it isn't just internet mods it is the actual mods that FS22 come with and you just have to install from the downloadable content menu.
a compressed zip folder is how mods are delivered to PC players. Its a collection of files and folders compressed to save space and presented to the computer as a single file that ends in a .zip file extension. Think of it like a duffle bag that has a collection of smaller bags (folders) and individual items (files). You can toss items and bags into the larger bag and when your done you close the bag with the zipper and the end result is one larger bag that is easy to transport that has various things inside it. The game knows how to read the zip files and use the contents within.
the mod folder is created automatically when the game launches. if your not seeing it then your looking in the wrong place. Does not mater where the PC version came from all PC versions put their mod folder under Users\Documents\My Games\Farming Simulator 2022\ This is the same folder that has your savegames and other setting files located.

If the mod folder there gets deleted the game creates it when its launched so it cant not be there. Does not mater where you got the game from. Steam, Epic, Disk or Giants that is where the mod folder is on PC unless you have modified the game files to send it someplace else and if you did that you would know.

In case you didnt see my other response I will copy it here. Yes that should work with respect to buying the game from any online store. The game is avaiable on disk or as a digital download. You can buy it from Steam, Epic or Giants directly using the link in the description. Its also available from the microsoft store alhough I would not get it from there as it seems things are not stored where they are 'normally' put for the oher PC installs.
@@sherriebaybeh Some of that depends on his computer's capabilities. 22 is a bit lighter on hardware than 25. FS22 is at the end of its development and while there are a ton of mods and maps that he can use in 22 very little will likley come out at this poitn going forward for 22 so its at its end state which isnt a bad thing just something to point out. FS25 just launched and has ilkley a good 3 years ahead of it on game enhancement, mod and map releases. FS22 can probably be found on sale going forward where as 25 being just launched wont be on sale or will not have very good sales for a while now. To that end 22 may be a lower cost way to see if its something he really gets into or not, As his parent your likley to have the best idea if its a short term interst or something he might grab onto and hold interest in.

If mods do not show up in the mod selection screen after placing them in the mod folder then either there not FS22 mods or they require unzipping or they are broken in some way. The log.txt file in the same folder as the mod folder will give you insights as to why the game does not like the mod.

As far as I know that mod has not been converted to FS22. FS19 mods will not work on FS22 until they are properly converted and released as FS22 mods.

All PC instances are the same with respect to where it stores savegames, mods and such.

Yep. No problem with mods on any PC platform. They all go in Documents/My Games/FarmingSimulator2022/Mods

Consoles wont have unlicensed brands like Ram. The only way to do that would be on PC.

you have to close your documents window, open/ play fs22, close fs22, then it should show up
