For me this is the most unique arc beside Marineford in entire one piece, the storyline the characters building and evolving, and the comedy it's all was on the highest level
the peak of one piece, amazing arc, great mix of old/new style animation, the humor of pre time skip with the intensity of post time skip. i can totally understand oda thinking of this as one of the final arcs before he extended the series.
