it officially "joined" the segment when in 2012 it dominated the E class and 5 series by offering a 385 horsepower 5.0 in its "base" model and refreshed its styling to look almost identical from the front to its 70k XJ older friend. Oh and the aston martin style tail lights? come on! This car has been a great choice in this segment for years

Stupid commentary. 'can jaguar join that elite group'???? Jaguar invented the luxury compact saloon back in the 50sand 60s with the mark2 s-type and 420 long before anybody bought BMW or Audi.
