8:42 Why do people keep saying that they want to force Oklahoma and Texas to play at the 4 new schools? That's not really as much of a punishment as you seem to think it is. Do you really want what is possibly (probably?) the last 4 away games for Oklahoma and Texas to be at the new schools only and none of the older Big 12 members would get them in their stadium? That's the plan?

Georgia/TCU was not only for the Nt'l Champ but could also be seen as the SEC imparting a message of how things may end up between the Big12 and SEC going forward...because of the animosity being created by their(Big12) stand on OU/TX. Not the negotiations in and of itself, but the pettiness quotient pervading the conference's stand on this issue? It's been over two years now and those guys are still "all up in their feelings". They're acting very unprofessional as a conference, in general with the way they're acting, and it may not be in the SEC's best interests to work with a conference with this type mindset??? ijs!

UT played it smart by recruiting Houston’s coach thus ending and possible elite runs. Over night they destroyed Houston’s recruiting, any possibility of future good runs, etc. Also, B12 was exploring the possibility of expansion in 2016 where Houston and possibly UCF were in the talks for expansion, things went south when UT said no.

@@dfausti66 Here is a list of reasons the Big12 is laughable.
1-Big12 has 1 all time win in CFP
2-Big12 history of being blown out in CFP
3-bringing in Houston, Cincinnati, UCF, BYU to survive is hilarious.
4-losing Oklahoma & Texas to SEC because they are tired of being cash cows for a league full of podunk programs. (Kansas, Iowa State, Texas Tech, Baylor, WVU, Okie Lite, etc)
      4-Little national appeal.
5-Big12 falling farther and farther behind the SEC and Big 10 financially. PAC12 teams don’t even want anything to do with the Big12.
6-Look what the SEC did to the 2 best Big12 teams. Alabama blew out K State and UGA simply showed everybody that TCU is a fraud.
7-The Big12 is a group of teams from sparsely populated states like Kansas, Iowa, West Virginia, & Oklahoma and 2nd Tier Texas teams. The national appeal for these teams is poor and that translates to less money.
8-The Big12 teams without Texas and OU simply is a league if wannabes who have little to zero reputation for football success. Adding 4 more teams of the same ilk does nothing to improve the Big12’s TV appeal. It is laughable to think otherwise.
