This is Afrobeats mixed with Fuji, a traditional music genre in Nigeria - South west region. The combo is crazy
U literally react to any genre requested without bias even when language is a clear barrier.. My subscription earned.
Laughing hard before I watch your reaction. 😂😂😂
Me too lol 😂😂🤣🤣
Me too... Zeh! 😂😂
He does sound unique to the mainstream afrobeats listeners but actually there are a lot of artists who have a similar kind of sound but it's classified as street music so you don't hear much about them unless you are in supposed ghetto areas . Small doctor is the last person with a similar sound I can recall to have broken into broken into the mainstream media
I'm from Jamaica, I watch this video Everyday I love it.
I love your analysis, cause that's honestly what you do, not just react 💯.
This is Nigerian (mostly Yoruba) street music, and constitutes various genre including fuji, apala, juju, galala (Warri), highlife etc. the influence of the streets "Adugbo" can be seen all the time in the Nigerian pop scene, fashion, food, style, slang, art, and especially music.
Coincidentally Olamide's music is a fusion of "street", afrobeat and hiphop so are Naira Marley's and Zlatan's (no hiphop).
Other artistes include: Small Doctor, Oritse Femi, Bella Shurmda etc.
Some OG's are Ayinde Wasiu, Kwam 1, Pasuma, Daddy Shokey, African China etc.
Its a wide discography and can be confusing trying to figure out where to start from.
He is unique that's why I like him,he is not afraid to take risk,I feel like too many artists are been too cautious, too scared to fuck up.
Man, you're taking me back to the streets. I'm loving this still
It is a monster banger 💣💯 😇 in Nigeria expecially and internet!!!
Hahahah zazzzuh is getting a reaction 😂😂😂😂 wow okay (claps)
Hey CubcamTV you should definitely react to Cavemen, sure won't be disappointed
🥰🥰🥰love your reaction. Just surprised
Normally the song is made from slangs that have no exact meaning it more of a party tune from the street sounds this is some how equated to black American gang songs made from the street this is the type street music we do in Nigeria
This song is currently in the top 5 most streamed song in Nigeria from stream's solely from Nigeria
So you're equating street music in naija to gang music in US, why?
@@o.t9358 Yes am equating because we dont do gang music in Nigeria what can be closest to gang music in Nigeria is street music. Street music is our own version of gang music in Nigeria
@@damolatony5776 I beg to disagree with this what we do is pure art with no violence unlike the American...
Like rap street battles except sung. Fuji as a music genre was competitive pre Internet levels..portable vocals is in fuji except on modern afro beats which makes it so sick yo hear.
I like ur honest analysis. I subscribed!

Cubcam is one of my favorite but he focuses more on the big fish and the ones with huge prospect. He needs to focus more on the streets jamz. KPK by mohbad and rexxie, feel good by mohbad, kilofese by zinoleesky. Etc..
Easy all!
The reaction for Zinoleesky - Kilofeshe is up on the channel!
are going to do a new version of
unfortunately I reacted to KPK on a live stream when I only had a few minutes to go and wasn’t particularly happy with how it came out so haven’t uploaded it individually but it’s still available to watch as part of that stream. I’ve made a point of not reacting to things when it’s not genuine, however because this one has been requested so heaving i might make the exception soon!
Thanks for watching regardless!
