- Lakers need to upgrade the roster and are active in trying to work out a Lakers Trade. Lakers Nation atleast needs to do a salary dump trade and clear some roster spots. If the Lakers can Land a few of the available NBA Free Agents that are still out there it could make a world of sense. Here are some of the top free agents Remaining.

Even in the Jerry West era the Lakers built their rosters via trade, not free FA. The only notable ones were Shaq, Lebron, Artest, and Fox. Everyone else of note was via draft or trade. Even our Magic, Worthy, and Kobe picks were via trade. Ppl need to have a little patience, trade szn is after FA szn.

The Lakers need to trade for Bruce Brown, Gary Trent Jr., Luke Kennard and Jeremy Grant. What would they have to give up to make the money work. I would take a guess and say at least 2 firsts and 2 seconds, JHS, Reaves, Hayes, and Maxwell Lewis.

Klay was never signing as a free agent neither was demar. They always were a sign and trade player. Klay also would of been nice for the Lakers but let's not act like he's Klay of old. Klay is a high end role player at this point.
