What a woman. Good luck with it all Rhasidat Adeleke.
What an impressive young lady she is. Funny too..."I felt I was running backwards" 😄
God this comment section is really disappointing. This is a young woman born and raised In Ireland, she calls Ireland her home. She is a product of Irish athletics. Hope she's proud of her Irish and Nigerian heritage
@@22grena And are you sure you are of 100% Irish genes yourself, you're almost definitely not! Not that I'm advocating taking one of those DNA tests but I know people who have done so, can be eye opening what it turns up. Anyway, since Ireland is not a racist fascist state thankfully, the scope for Irish nationality doesn't start and end at whether you have 95%+ White Irish genes.
Just two feic’n idiots from what I can see. Ignore & don’t elevate. It’s not the entire section. What I see is admiration & support.
Irish are an Ethnic people that are racially white/Caucasian so what you basically are in encouraging is culturally appropriation on a peoples identity but because they are white it doesn't matter. Irish are white always have and always will so she ain't Irish.
What you are doing is confusing race and ethnicity.
@@93RubixCube Race and Ethnicity go hand in hand, to be white you must be Caucasian. To be Irish you must be white for the people who formed the Irish identity are racially and genetically white not hard to understand.
New Ireland I am so happy for her and her family. The next 10 years in Ireland sports should be interesting
@@22grena Yes, it would work very well if the 70,000,000 people of Irish ancestry, relocated to Ireland, while the much fewer not of Irish ancestry living in Ireland, relocated in the other direction.
Only Irish people who don't know their own history can make "she's not Irish" comments.
Ireland for the Irish, foreigner.
God bless you from Boston. I was born in Dublin, lived in Tallaght and ran for CuChulainn (which became Tallaght AC) I trained under Johnny Fox and went to US to run. You have accomplished more than I can ever dream of. Go for gold in Paris. You are a winner.
Jesus she impressive, she has a layer back style but you can see the steely determination come through in her replies, fair play to joe too, he has a great interview style
Brilliant come the Irish 🇮🇪this woman is brilliant, great stuff keep it going 😊
shes not irish
She is an African and if you can’t tell the difference you should go and live in Africa
Love from an Irish Texan. Hook m Horns !!!
Great interview and person. 🤘🏾
The interview was fascinating. It is so reassuring to hear Rhasidat does not sound like a character from "The Simpsons" after two long years in the US. 😁
Go on ye good thing! Love to know what the Yanks think of the dub accent
shes not irish
@@Podonnchadha-cr7nn Born and raised in Ireland, Irish passport holder, Irish education, Irish accent, you must be referring to the colour of her skin and ancestry, which makes you a R-A-C-I-S-T.
Congrstulations, you have now joined the "No dogs, no blacks, no Irish" crowd.
Well done missy
Hope to see her in Diamond League
Watch her she’s winning before she starts to excels rates.
I am sure Africa is very proud of her. But the Irish person she is replacing not so much.
Go for a run or something
@@barryk00da What’s the point if you know you’ll be beaten by a non Irish import. The death of indigenous athletes. Do you want Irish sport to be like the NFL or the Basketball leagues in America, traitor?
Lol, she’s Irish, born and bred.
The interviewer is intelligent and knows his job well, very enjoyable.
She was born in Tallaght. Are you saying Tallaght people aren't Irish? Or are you just bad at trolling?
But did she break the nigerian record?
Irish?
Yawn
@@harshbutfair8993 I hear you. I'm tired of it to.
@@tomgreen2737 Yawn as in your comment is boring as @#$%, if I have to spell it out! Literally almost no one is 100% genetically Irish, Conan O'Brien did a skit on it before when it came back that he apparently was that! Whether you like it or not, and you apparently don't, we have people who are Irish who are of African, Asian, South American, other European countries origin, and of mixed race origin. Like @93RubixCube said I hope she's proud of her Nigerian origins and she shouldn't forget that, but now she is also part of Ireland's story, much more a part of it than either you (Tom Green) or me are!
@@harshbutfair8993 You cant be African and Irish
@@harshbutfair8993 it's people like you that' sit there and Usher in the destruction of our country. History won't look up on you to kindly. Virtue signalling will be the death of us all.
