Good update. Your richness is reflected in abundant happiness. May I suggest a hat to protect your fair skin it's also handy when picking berries. My best wishes for continued joy.

      I do have a hat actually !
It’s currently at my friends house, it was starting to get some mold on it because it stayed wet for too long, maybe i can scrape it off 👌🏽

I use a netti pot once in a while but with water and salt. Herbal tea through the nose? What? 😱 Or did I understand it wrong? Anyway, best invention ever. If I feel like I am getting sick I start using it once a day and that's it.
Cool video. I started travelling with only hand luggage in 2018 and last year I have been moving around Europe with just 16 L. It is so freeing. People seem to forget that there are sinks and washing machines to wash the couple of things you take 😄It also keeps you from spending money on stuff you don't need.

      Excellent 🙌🏽 16L is very impressive !
How do you manage to keep the bag so small in europe? What’s your style of travel?

      @@highonmike Hello Mike :)
My style of travel is going to a city for 5-10 days. Nothing spectacular. I take what I am wearing that day and 2x shirts, 1x leggings, 4x underwear, 3x socks, 1x hoodie. My toiletries fit in a 1 L bag (shampoo and brush go separate).
In a recent trip to England, I did laundry with some girls from the hostel in order not to be wasteful.
It does get a bit boring and sometimes I wish I had taken this or that but it works out fine :)
Thinking back I cannot understand why I took so much stuff with me anymore.

Isn’t it better for the environment to keep the clothes you ready have rather than replacing them?. Also isn’t it better for the environment to not buy camera gear, phones, tablets, to not travel and use fuel, to not promote the tourism culture which displaces native people, to not make content and promote capitalism, etc? I have always found it hypocritical for people to pick and choose how they are “saving the world”.

Isn’t keeping the clothing you already have better for the environment than getting rid of it and getting something else?

I have a question have you have ever been Barefoot on a plane or can you do it.

    • @highonmike
      @highonmike  7 месяцев назад +2

      I am always barefoot on planes ! ✈️ 🦶🏼
Sometimes they will tell you to put your shoes on before boarding,
but you can just take them off when you sit down

Really all you need to do is travel with some lycra, quick dry underwear and undershirts - just 2 pairs is fine for me and I just rewash, laptop and minimal camera gear. Then if I want to wear some other clothes, I will just buy it locally and send it back home before I travel to the next destination. Same with any gifts or items that I buy locally - I will just ship it back to myself rather than carry it with me on my trip. I consider all of this a travel convenience tax and I am happy to pay for it in order to enjoy the luxury that light traveling provides me. I don't even wear any type of backpack, just a rimowa business trolley that is a 4 wheel spinner and fits under the airplane seat so I never have to gate check it. Basically I am never burdened with any weight while traveling, just pushing along the trolley handle with my pinky finger.
