- A complete chain sprocket maintenance was carried out on my motorcycle and in this video we will be changing the chain guide on a motorcycle: TVS Apache RTR 200 this video will also be a guide on how to remove the foot rest on a motorcycle. Chain guide replacement is necessary to retain the chain and maintain tension on it hence it helps in reducing the noise from the chain due to chain slapping and noise due to irregular chain movement. It's recommended to replace the chain guide in every 8000-10000km on motorcycles like TVS Apache RTR 160/200

You must have already noticed the chain guide is fixed in opposite direction, Reason: When I purchased the new chain guide from authorized service a technician advised me to try this. I thought no harm in trying it for a week. No difference was observed with that and now the guide is back to it's original place. Really Sorry for missing out this point in the video.

My chain was making noise after riding 13000 km.
Service centre people said that I will have to replace the whole chain and sprocket set which will cost me around 4.5k including labour charges.
I checked my sprockets which were absolutely fine.
But thank God and thanks to you that I has already saw this video and thought of changing the chain guide. And guess what?
Problem was solved only for just 64/-

I watch all ur videos in YT and I really like and appreciate u show us ur journeys. I have a problem with my bike Apache RTR 200, so I am writing to u with a few questions.
Problem: my RTR 200 is only 10 months old and now a days I don't drive it every day as I get cab for my office. Subsequently it developed a problem of not starting with the self if not in use for 2 to 3 days. It doesn't have a ki k also. So I need to run and start it in gear. Recently that is also not working. My service center people have changed the battery and the regulator a couple of times. But now they are putting the blame on me saying I need to run it every day, or else this will happen.
My questions are:
1) does every bike with a self start has this issue?
2) what about people who don't use a bike everyday, how do I keep this from happening?
3) can u suggest any solution for this issue?
4) do u use your superbike everyday? Do u face the same issue when u don't ride it for 1 or 2 weeks?
I am asking you this as know u also own an Apache. Please read my message. I know it's long. But please help me.

Sir, My Speed Sensor is having Oil Leak issues. Replaced 3 times so is it possible that Due to Chain Spoket is old giving tension to Speed Sensor or due to vibration of Chain Speed sensor is leaking?

My RTR 200 makes a dull noise after a high speed long distance run, its feels like kuch fat gaya hai but it becomes normal once the bike cools down.. Not sure what could be.. Any help is appreciated.
Bro, my new 2022 Apache 200 just ran 6000 kms, but recently when I rotate rear wheel on the centre stand it gets rattling sound heavily, does this problem related to that rubber or else front sprocket... There is poor at service centre near me and they are saying that tappet sound 😂, please reply me...
