Been watching all your videos! Just ordered some NLBN lures from the last video I watched. Any tips or setups you recommend me and my father in law and brother in law will be up there fishing the beginning of may from New Mexico!
8-9 ft MH rod & a 5000-8000 sized spinning reel will do the job!
Y’all took them reds to POUNDTOWN!

What , kind of foot wear do ya use to not slip on the rocks?
Korkers

Hi Eric, thanks for the video! I was at Packery South Jetty 2 weeks ago and people were limiting out on Sheepshead in a matter of hours. I had never eaten sheepshead so fileted our catch and vacuum sealed them fresh while in Corpus. Got home and cooked some and uh, well, let's just say Sheepshead ain't for us. We are coming back the week of April 9 to get away from the central Texas eclips madness. Hoping to get on some bull reds at the jetty instead of sheep. Would you recommend Packery or Port Aransas jetty for that time? I would love to find some blackdrum and flounder too. Any tips appreciated.
Port A for bullreds & keeper fish packery!
How do you like that setup, both the rod and reel? I’ve been looking into getting one or both of those
I’m liking it a lot! Light for a 9’
@@Eric_Castillo_Fishing sweet, not looking to get a crazy expensive setup so this looks like a solid option
You guys should invest in a net?? 🤔
🤔

Port Aransas
Vent them next time bro, it’ll help them get down easier and quicker
