      @@CarvingFusion Jordy have listened to your story injury and all you hit a cord with me and turned me onto power carving. I am a Scottish disabled war veteran and suffered PTSD and the drink problems. Gladly now after help I am doing fine but your educational videos and the way you deliver them have helped me also. The 4 woodspirits at the end of the video reminds me of Mount Rushmore!!! How about a video/live series of carving 4 woodspirits on a half log, Mount Rushmore style, but carve the log horizontally so could hang it above a doorway?

    Have tried three already….. I have NO artistic ability. I watch you and stop the video and do a bit at a time… wish I had seen this video first !!!! So much easier . Mine are just okay, it I think this way will make them come out better. Only problem I have is lots of hard wood here in North Carolina- absolutely cannot find soft wood. You started talking about best woods… can you elaborate more? I have lots of poplar … too furry. Lots of pine, oak, walnut. Wish I could find cottonwood or other soft wood. Only other thing I can find is driftwood at the lake (haven’t tried that yet but it’s super light) anyways- as always …. I L❤️VE how you encourage us and make so many videos … you rock ! ✌️

    • @CarvingFusion
      @CarvingFusion  2 года назад

      Thank u, pine and poplar are good carving woods, fairly soft, I'd try carving that light driftwood u found, betcha it's soft wood, heavier wood always seems yhe hardest to carve
