Yep, good attitude. We just got off Prima 4 weeks ago and loved it. Yes there are some weird things and small venues, but definitely did not ruin the cruise in the slightest. Deck 8 rocked!
We just launched (finally) our review for the ship. It is a beautiful ship, although we thought the spaces were laid out in a way that made them a bit louder and more crowded than we preferred. The individual crew service was exactly as we expected from NCL--fantastic! We're glad you enjoyed your trip. Eastern Europe? The Adriatic Sea? Thanks for watching
We’re going on the Prima on 3/29 from Galveston. We only cruise on NCL and are looking forward to this ship. Can’t wait to see your overall experience video.
Just found your channel. We will be on the Prima , ICeland to Southampton , in May. Looking forward to seeing your other videos about this ship. We are usually " loyal to royal" but the itinerary we will be going on, looks to be phenomenal .
Sounds like a wonderful itinerary. Are you doing a pre-cruise in Iceland or does the ship go around the country. If the ship doesn’t, we’d recommend, if possible, staying for a few days. Rent a car and you can see the country pretty easily. It is very beautiful. Thanks for finding us and watching.
We just got back from an 11 day Northern Europe trip on Prima. Beautiful ship with fantastic entertainment. We found it to be spacious and enjoyed the entire stay on the ship. The food was always good as well. Only criticism would be the lack of entertainment for preteens/teens. The Galaxy Pavilion was not fully open on certain days and the variety of games was not the best. Otherwise we enjoyed our Prima experience!
I had only two issues with Prima eh. One, not every bar will make your drink and walk around the ship and suddenly you’re being told you’re in Haven territory you must leave and finding a place to sit and eat is challenging. Okay that’s 3. No WiFi in the buffet area would greatly help
I am sailing on the Prima on 2/9. I really wish I had done a little more research as I am seeing some of the same negative comments over and over (spaces/venues too small as well as main pool area). I appreciate your review and will check back to see if you post anything else before I leave. That said, I am a big believer that fun and adventure is a mindset, and no matter what (unless we have a Titanic like experience 😅) I fully expect to have a great time.
Us too! Look for us. I am 66 short and bald maybe wearing a Fred Flinstone shirt and a welding cap. I will be doing karaoke. My wife is taller and our friend Paula is short. Say hi!
I am doing the transatlantic in April on her. Wishing I had booked on another NCL ship but we will make the best of it. Looking forward to the thermal Spa, as that always seems to be the saving factor for me on a cruise. Perfer smaller crowds and kids make me nervous lol. I realize I sound horrible but I am a very nice guy. I just have anxiety issues.
I think you’ll have a great voyage. We are working our review which will come out in a few weeks. There seemed to always to be some quiet spaces to relax in in the Ocean Boulevard. The food in Paloma’s was very good. There’s some good with this ship. Not our favorite, but not a 2.8 either. Have a great trip and thanks for watching.
We will be on the Prima real soon and it was definitely interesting to hear yall's thoughts on the ship on your first day. We have been on Bliss so would love to see how Prima is similar and different from Bliss and the Breakaway-plus ships
Great review. You guys are always very objective. I agree with the atrium. I am also mixed. It sort of looks like an atrium from a convention center and not a cruise ship.
We were on the Prima in Feb. I will say a lot of negative about the ship, but we still had a great time with that being said I would not get back on the prima or any ship in that class, getting ready to cruise the Epic
We will be having our full review coming out soon. But although there were things that we wished were better, we did have a fun time. The Epic? Hmmmm....We will say the Epic has one of the best Havens in the fleet. Anyway, have a great time and thanks for watching and caring enough to comment.
On Ncl Prima may 2025. Yes think to get more aria say outside made stupid buffet But other free eats so may work Had to put heat lamps as Iceland Norway cool
Nope. We state that we were looking at the cruiser rating average from Cruise Critic. At the time we filmed this, the NCL Prima had an average of 2.8-the lowest of any NCL ship. The Spirit btw has an average rating of 3.8.
Much what we thought as well. There is so much that is almost awesome about the ship...just not quite there. As you'll see in our review (coming as soon as we can produce it), we also thought that the Pourhouse was too crowded, but the show we saw was fantastic. More later on that. Thanks for watching!
Hear ya. Going Ncl Prima may 22 2025 Reykjavik departure despite review But yes this ship plan not best Worry about northern Ports as outside seating 40-50f
The metropolitan was a waste of open space bar 100 people could fit nothing ever happen here this could be Sid’s and why Casino I so BiG need to take back for more atrium. Prima reminds me of friends house a designer do over it look good but try to use it nothing works poor planning and a party it over crowed
We appreciate your perspective and caring enough to comment. We looked at the video again and believe it truly represents the way we felt on this first day. We really liked the room and the Ocean Boulevard. While believing it is a beautiful ship, on our first day we found the food to be meh at best and areas such as the atrium and the Commodore were far too loud to be enjoyed. Also, please understand these are our reactions as cruisers on day one. We are working to produce our full review (plus a dining deep dive). As the days went on, there were still some niggles but there are certainly some bright spots--Palomar was awesome! Please stay tuned and once again, thanks for watching.
ruclips.net/video/mpUC_rqNUvI/видео.html Im a cabin steward on norwegian cruiseline. These is the second part of my video. These one is my payslip. Proving that theres no service charge is going to our salary
We appreciate you watching and the thoughtful comment. Good news, though. This was simply a first impression of our first day in the ship. Our review should be coming out in 2 weeks. Also, while we were disappointed with the atrium and the main dining room, we liked the food court and love the Ocean Boulevard. In the review, you’ll hear our impressions on the specialty restaurants which-save for one of exception we really enjoyed. Stay tuned.
I would suggest that if your aversion to cruising is that there is too many people, there are several lines where that isn't the case. For example, next week we will be on a ship with less than 150 passengers. Cruising is a lot like clothes. You just have to find what is your style and what fits you. Thanks for watching and caring enough to comment.
I'm on prima in December 2024 out of NYC 10 days. I can't wait not really worried about negative comments.
Have a great cruise. There are things to like about this ship. We really loved the Ocean Blvd! Thanks for watching!

I just came back on a cruise on the prima in Eastern Europe it was fantastic excellent service everybody was very attentiveand a beautiful ship

Sailing Feb 9 2024. Second time on Prima. Sailed Oct 31, 2022. Great ship. Wifi is great.
I’m glad to hear that there is main dining room for lunch on the 1st day carnival doesn’t offer that option
Yes. Every NCL ship we've ever sailed on has one of the MDRs which is open for lunch during embarkation. Thanks for watching.
We’re going on the Prima on 3/29 from Galveston. We only cruise on NCL and are looking forward to this ship. Can’t wait to see your overall experience video.
Enjoy your trip. Halfway done editing the ship tour. But it’ll have to wait until we return from Antarctica!

We enjoyed the entertainment too and are so glad that you had a great trip. Thanks for watching.

We didn’t have the issue of straying into the Haven. But we’re glad that that and the buffet were your only issues. Thanks for watching!

You should probably sail on Virgin if kids make you nervous 🙄
I domost of my cruising with Viking, much smaller group of guest and no kids. Thank you for the info and I will look at Virgin @@alliepettola3808

What kind words to read. Thanks so very much.

Y'all make me want to go on a cruise!
On Ncl Prima may 2025. Yes think to get more aria say outside made stupid buffet

Thanks so much for watching. Enjoy your upcoming cruise!
I find this interesting, since if you go to the NCL website the Spirit is the lowest ranked. But I guess anything for clicks right?
Nope. We state that we were looking at the cruiser rating average from Cruise Critic. At the time we filmed this, the NCL Prima had an average of 2.8-the lowest of any NCL ship. The Spirit btw has an average rating of 3.8.
could the loudness be less of the ships fault andd more from the home port's boisterous people? or does the ship need carpeting and wall tapestries
Nope. Don’t think we could blame this in the wonderful people of Galveston. We chalk it up to the size and design of the venues.
I been on it so much wasted space Sid’s place is so small you never able to go see music at night the Starbucks should be there not a music

But yes this ship plan not best

You'll love Reykjavik. Iceland is wonderful! There are things that are to like about the ship. Make sure you go to the Palomar restaurant on-board!
I won $4 in the casino on the ship
That’s $4 more than we have ever won!
Looks too tight, enclosed, and crowded. Breakaway+ class looks much better!
We think we like the Breakaway+ class better. In fact, we have two cruises on that class coming up (stay tuned). Thanks for watching!

So negative!! I like to watch these to gather intel and I understand that there will be good/bad, but dang.

Hard PASS on the Prima... Our Captain skipped docking at Roatan claiming 36 knots winds while 3 other vessels made port as we watched.

You seem to make a complaint about most everything about the Prima... what a negative review!

Get a larger cabin! Problem solved.
The room was one of the things we liked.
I could never go on a cruise even if I were payed to, just too many people crammed on there, like a floating shopping mall.😎
Gaz UK.
