    Excellent clarification on this article. I recently failed a rough in inspection for not having neutrals at switch boxes, when in fact there were no wires there because they were remotes

    Sort of the same thing with smoke detectors. Wired and wireless. Wireless: forbidden and then suddenly, permitted. Tidal wave change based on a 3-year code update. Change is slow.

    Please correct me if I'm wrong or pardon my ignorance at about 4 minutes 30 seconds into your video you said the NEC covers the removal of conductors or wires can you please give more in depth to what you mean or did I hear that wrong? Really love the videos and every service you provide you help me get my electrical license let me know if you ever come to Tennessee

      See 90.2, but the only removal requirement is for limited energy circuits that are abandoned in place.

    Can you give me your interpretation of 404.9 b 1. Do I need to connect an egc to my 15a snap switch in a 4s box? Also does it have to have the self grounding tab? Thank you.
